Faith's POV

I've been in the same hotel room for 2 days. The same spot, handcuffed to the same bedpost. Except now I was bloody and bruised again. They beat me every moment I got. I had to escape somehow. Since I was still stuck in the hotel room, I figured I'd try to escape when they went to sleep or I was alone. It was 9:00 PM now according to the microwave. One of the men were out doing something but the other was with me.

It is now 3:00 AM, I would've left, but one of the men stayed up to watch me. He would fall asleep eventually though.

I slid my eyes over to the microwave and found it was 6:30 AM. The guy fell asleep, it was my chance now. I used my free hand to take one of my earrings out. I used the earring to pick the lock of the cheap handcuffs. They unlocked and I took the handcuff off my wrist. I sat up and wobbled a little. I realized that I haven't stood up in 2 days. I tried not to run into anything as I walked to the door. I opened it slowly and sneaked out. I tried to close it without making any noise. I speed walked to the end of the hall and took the stairs to the first floor. I ran out of the lobby and ran as far as I could before I had to stop. I caught my breath, looked at some signs, I started walking.

I'm not exactly how long I've been walking, but the sun is high in the sky now. I'm walking on the grass next to the highway right now. I'm probably only an hour by car from my home now. I saw a familiar car pull over next to me. Wait, that's Josh's car! The car shut off and Jordan came rushing out of the driver's seat. He ran over to me and pulled me into a tight hug. We stayed in the hug for a long time. He finally let go.

"Thanks for saving me," I said, pulling him into another hug.

"I told you I would always protect you," he whispered softly into my ear, reminding me of what he told me a few weeks ago. "And I'm going to keep that promise, no matter what."

"Thank you."

We pulled back from the hug and it was silent for a few moments.

"Have I ever told you how beautiful you are?" Jordan asked quietly.

I looked down and shook my head.

"Well you are," he paused, then dropped his voice to a whisper, "Even when you're all bruised. I love your beautiful blue eyes, the way they sparkle. I love your smile, how it lights up the room. I love your laugh. I love your beautiful and sometimes crazy hair," his hand pushed a strand of hair behind my ear, his hand stayed on my jaw and pulled me closer. "I love your personality, how your always willing to help someone. I love that when I'm around you, I always have to resist myself to just lean over and kiss you."

My hands wrapped around his neck as his wrapped around my waist, pulling me close into a sweet kiss. My lips met with his lips. I've been waiting for this moment since I met Jordan. He helped me through everything, I knew he was the one for me. I might be in love with him. I pulled back from the kiss and our foreheads touched.

"I really like you," he said, out of breath.

"I really like you too."

"I need to help you."

"What do you mean-"

Jordan picked me up quickly and put me in the passenger's seat of the car. I smiled at him as he got in the car and started driving home.

After about an hour, we pulled into Tyler's driveway. I tried to walk but Jordan ran over and picked me up and walked me inside.

"Hey! Guess who I have?"

"Jordan, where were you? I've been worried sick!" I heard Josh yell.

Jordan walked into the room and Tyler burst out crying. "Faith?"

Jordan set me down and I nodded my head. Tyler walked over to me and pulled me into a tight hug, then Brendon joined, then Jenna, then Josh, and finally Jordan joined. I reached out my hand and grabbed Jordan's hand. He looked at me and smiled.

"I'm finally home."

"And bruised. What did they do to you?"
