The Speech

I walked to the back of the class and took my seat, then the bell rang. Students came in, laughing, talking and shouting. I saw Sunny and Tessa come in and they walked over and tried to talk to me but I just kept ignoring her. I was on my phone when I saw a picture on a paparazzi Instagram page, it was of me and Jake.

(Pretend they are in a park not a basketball stadium)

I sighed and put down my phone, I saw a lot of people look of over and laugh at me. I just ignored it and payed attention.

Mr- Ok, so we have 3 young men who would like to share their story of their careers

The class clapped and Chance walked out.

C- Hey guys, I'm Chance.....

When Chance finished his speech, the whole class clapped again. He walked off and Anthony walked up.

An- Hey Guys, I'm Anthony.....

When he finished, the classes clapped and then he walked off, Jake walking up to the front. I saw him wink at me, I slightly smiled.

J- Hey guys, I'm Jake as lots of you may know, and you may also know that I do YouTube, well there is a lot more to me than just filming videos, being a creator, I'm just like any other human being, I have proper feelings, emotions and I have been backstabbed, a lot. When I was in school my teachers would tell me that I wasn't going to make it far, that I wouldn't succeed, I didn't listen to them, I carried on believing, working harder to achieve my goal, and that's what brings me here today, I have a Youtube channel with 17 million subscribers, I live with my best friends, I have lots of supportive fans and I recently found myself a girlfriend

Everyone looked at me and I smiled.

J- Now, this whole girlfriend thing, I had an ex, she cheated on me and I didn't think I could trust any girl, ever again, I always knew I would find someone, just not this soon, because of my trust issues from that ex girlfriend situation, to best friends stabbing me in the back and leaving, it has been hard, a lot harder than some people would think. When I walked into Starbucks one afternoon, no way did I think my dream girl, the perfect girl for me, a girl that I could finally trust, was just standing waiting for a coffee, as soon as I saw her, I flashed her a smile, hoping to receive one back, and I did, after we talked and talked and I came to the conclusion, that I could trust her, so the next day I took her on a date, we ate our dinner and I asked her to be my girlfriend, to be honest, like I was saying, I have all the same emotions and feelings as you all do, I was scared out of my mind, before I asked her out, I was shaking, I was scared incase I was turned down by the only girl that I know I can definitely trust

I was tearing up at this point, the things Jake was saying, omg, what did I do to deserve him?

J- She truly has changed my life and I hope that we will be together till we are grey and old
Some of the class- Aww
J- Um, so yeah, I'm not just the Jake Paul you guys all see on YouTube, but I'm a guy with 2 best friends, an incredible girlfriend, a stupid brother and living in a house making videos everyday and posting them to the internet
All- *claps*
Mr- Ok, any questions for Jake?

I looked around and saw a few peoples hands up.

Mr- Yes Bryan?
B- Erika's your girl right?
J- Yeah
Mr- Yes Alissa?
Al- My house tonight at 7? *bites lip*
J- Definitely not
E- Thanks for ruining the mood *mutters under breath*

Jake looks at me and I have tears streaming down my face. He walks over and helps me up, taking me out of the class. As soon as we got out, he tucked some strands of hair behind me ear and wiped my tears away with his thumb them immediately brining me into a hug.

J- Why are you crying?
E- Because of your speech *sniff*
J- What about it?
E- Your so sweet
J- *chuckles* Well just know everything I said was true

I pulled back from the hug and cupped Jakes face with my hands.

E- What did I do to deserve you?
