I Lost Her

So, I flew to Bezerker island. I remember half way through my trip that Thora doesn't speak up very often unless it's important to her. So, I kinda felt bad for flipping out on her. I knew she just felt bad. But, she doesn't know anything. I know she's wrong.

So, when I landed on Bezerker island I met Heather.

"Here again Snotlout? How come?" She asked with her Razorwhip standing next to her.

"Well, I needed away from Berk. The people there are getting annoying."

"Well, I know you can't be talking about Fishlegs." She smiled.

"No. Not Fishlegs. I actually haven't seen him in a while." I actually haven't seen a lot of people for  a  while. "Have you seen Venus?" He asked.

"Oh. Yeah, her and Gruffnut went to the arena." She smiled gently.

"Thanks Heather. Oh. And I'm sorry but, I'm over you..." I sighed. She had the biggest crush on me.

(Not even close to crushing on him. Crushing him? Maybe.)

So, I made my way to the arena and I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Everything about to happen made me realize Thora was right. I turned around the corner and into the arena they had built. I saw standing in the middle of it kissing was Gruffnut, and Venus.

"Hey! What's going on here!?" I asked. I couldn't believe this was happening. I put so much time and effort towards her. I cut so much contact with my friends for her. I travel out here every week for her, and this is what I get!? It wasn't till later I knew Thora was right. I  was furious.

"Snotmouth?" She turned saying my name wrong...again.

"It's SNOTLOUT TO YOU. I put so much time and effort into making sure you're safe! I made time for you, that I'm starting to think you're not worth it!"

"I never asked you too."

"That's the point! I didn't have to but I did. I don't need someone who treats me like crap! I'm too good for you anyway!"

"Why would I have chose you? You're not a warrior. I've heard stories about you. You're nothing but, a cry baby. A wanna be. Did you think you were honestly good enough for me? Gruffnut here is ruthless, and goes after what he wants and doesn't stop at anything until he does."

"What is that supposed to mean!? I've been coming all the way from Berk to make sure you're happy!" I growled. Whatever. She's not worth me. 

"Listen, if you were worth my time. You wouldn't be hanging out with land lovers, loners, losers." she laughed.

"Whatever. It's your loss not mine." I left getting on Hookfang and didn't dare look back.

(I don't have much to say on this. No one was there to confirm this.)

I landed on Berk and I walked past Thora. I didn't want to face her. She'd rub it in my face just like everyone else.

(Never in a million years. I wouldn't. I didn't.)

I heard her speak to me.

"Snotlout? Are you okay?" She asked shyly, and she slowly started to follow me.

"I'm fine. You were wrong if you're asking."  He said not looking at me.

"You're lying." I heard her voice turn sad.

"What if I am?" I looked at her now turning around.

"It's her loss. Not yours. You deserve someone who cares. Who, says your name right." 

I looked at her shocked. I was waiting for the insults. 

"No gloating? No teasing? No 'I told you so.'?" I looked at her shocked.

"No. Just, a 'I wish I was wrong.' " 

"Sorry." I mumbled under my breath.

"No need for an apology. I know you are." She smiled at me. "What do you say we do something together?" She changed the subject.

"How about a walk?" 

"Sure. I could use one." She smiled.

Eventually, we ended up laughing, and talking. We almost didn't realize it was dark. We then laid under the stars. 

"I'm here if you need to talk Snotlout. You don't have to hold it in. Remember that." She said gently.

"That's why you're my Best Friend." I added. We split after that. 

I lost her. That won't be the last time I see her though. I'd see her later on in the story.  After that night, I made sure I always walked with Thora. I even started talking to the Riders more. Thora came close with Tuffnut. So, he's around more often. I think she has a crush on him now. I'll break the idiot if he hurts her.
