(Thora's POV)
I sat in the yard of my hut that's back away from others more or less. I held my knees looking into the woods. I was staring off. Remembering what it was like to be important, and loved.

(Snotlout's POV)
She's sad. I'm not sure why. I can see it while she stares off.  The place looks almost deserted. So, I made my way to her.

"Why are you here?"

"I live here."

"You're parents aren't gonna kill me right?" I asked.

"Not unless my Mom decides to come back into my life, or my Father's soul is raised from Valhalla." She said.

"Oh. I thought you said you had family here?" I swore she said she had people here.

"I did. The memories are all here." She was confused and calm.

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"I didn't need your pitty then. I don't need it now." She was still calm.

" What do you mean?"

"Let me guess. You're gonna offer me anything to make yourself feel better. A job, a place to stay where people are. A dragon? Well don't want any of it." She almost snapped.

"How long?" I asked.

"Since I was 15. Mom was never there. You're not the only one who faught hard for Berk Snotlout." She seemed annoyed.

"What are you talking about?"

"My Father died fighting for the dragons. I almost almost died fighting for the dragons. Do you know what happened? I waited at our safe spot on that island. I waited and everyone left me behind. No one told me that my Father died. He never came Snotlout."

"I'm sorry...I know you don't want my pitty, and you sure as hell aren't getting it. Hiccup lost his dad, I lost my chief. It's just something you have to deal with. But not alone."

She looked up at me snapping out of her daze.

"Yeah. Cause you won't let me be alone. I want to be."

"No."

"Why are you fighting with me over this? You don't know anything!" She yelled. She actually yelled at me.

"I know I'm not leaving you here to jump off the edge of Berk."

"I won't. I have to live for my Father." She growled at me.

"Come here. Let's go do something to get your mind off of things."

"No. I can't keep ignoring this. Why do you keep fighting to stay!? I want you to leave!" She raised her fist to punch me.

" I fight for the things I want. I want you to feel better." I caught her fist and held her wrists.

"Let GO of me!" She was fighting as hard as she could. Crying her eyes out.

"What is really truly wrong? There has to be something else."

"ME IM WHATS WRONG!" She screamed.

"Why? You're everything I'm not."

"EXACTLY! I'm horrible, and broken, and shy, I'm different and NOBODY likes different. Not a single soul likes broken and bruised!"

"I'm still here aren't I?"

"Because you feel like you have to be!"

"Because I know I need, have, and want to be." I yelled back at her. I pulled her forcefully into a hug. "You're important to me."  She cried even harder, and it seemed she relaxed some.

"Because you feel bad for me." She ran away...I stood there with Hookfang. Watching her run away. Again.
