Today, I get to rest! Do whatever I please! I woke up at sun rise to a knock on the door. Snotlout opened it. I squinted to see Eret walking in.

"Oh look. It's Prince Charming." Snotlout rolled his eyes.

"Thora. I was wondering if you'd like to show me around today. Since we've got nothing better to do."

"Sure, want to come Snotlout?" I yawned asking.

"I wouldn't want to bother you." He shrugged rubbing his eyes putting his helmet on.

"Would you stop it? Are you coming or not?"

"Nah. Hookfang and I got some work to do. There's frost outside. That means we need fire wood."

"Oh...okay." I shrugged. "Have fun. Wish I could help." I added.

"It's fine. Go have fun." I grit my teeth together. Trying to hold my tongue.

"Okay. Be careful." I shrugged as Eret picked up my brush walking towards me.

"let's get ya ready then." he smiled.

"I CAN DO IT." Snotlout grabbed the brush from his hands walking towards me.

"Go get ready for your adventure. I'll get her ready." I laughed a little shrugging my shoulders. Why is he acting like this?

Snotlout sat me up, unbraiding parts of my hair. He began to brush out my hair.

"If you start to get too cold tonight let Hookfang know okay? We don't want to undo the progress you've made."  he said as he made the last stroke as he began to braid my hair again. Just in certain spots.

"I will. I promise." I said, as he sat on the bed in front of me now. Braiding some more.

"Where'd you learn this from?" I asked. It was nagging at me.

"When my Mom was sick I'd do her hair for her." he said not looking me in the eye. His cheeks turned red even.

"That's sweet...is that where you learned your sewing skills as well?" I chuckled.

"how'd you know about that!?" he looked up shocked.

"The stories... They don't make you look too good though. But I don't focus on those parts." I grinned as he blushed harder looking down at the braids again.

"Eh. It's whatever. Hiccup has admitted multiple times I'm important to the team." He shrugged. "He knows it. I know it."

"You're really important to the team. And your Dad, and me." He looked up almost speechless.

"Hey! You forgot Hooky!" He said annoyed.

"Right! My bad... I guess there's just too many people to compete with. I keep forgetting..." PLEASEEEEEE DONT UNDERSTAND THAT.

"YOU KNOW IT." I laughed. Why did she say compete with??? Does she feel like that? She obviously didn't mean to say that...I'll try to let it go.

Eret came in.

"hey Thora. I was thinking that you could rode Skullcrusher, and point us in the right direction. No worries. He will not take one flight. It'll just be easier than carrying you." he smirked.

"as long as he doesn't take off. I'll try my best to handle it... You guys shouldn't have to carry me around everywhere..." I sighed terrified. Skull crusher came in, and Eret sat me on him, as I gripped the saddle. I looked over at Snotlout as Hookfanh seemed to lean against him.

"i'll see you later okay?" I felt like something was wrong... But what?

I watched as she trusted Eret more than she trust Hooky, and I. My heart sunk. I lost her...
