Chapter 9: Truth or Dare

I ran to Harvey's house making sure the doctors, Lars, and Spencer wouldn't catch up to me. I reached his house and knocked on the door. It swung open and there was Harvey smiling at me.

"Hey Soph. Come in." He said opening the door wider to let me in.

"Thanks for letting me come over." I said walking in as he shut the door behind me. I filled in Harvey with everything that happened, and he stared at me for a good five minutes before probably assuming the fact that I was crazy.

"Wha- i- Okay..." He said trailing off. Yup, he definitely thought I was crazy. "Let's get our minds off of your uhh escape? How about we play with the Ouija board?" He said smiling brightly as he brought out an old box.

"NOPENOPENOPENOPE I AM NOT MESSING WITH THE DEVIL TODAY." I said panicking. I was always scared to mess with the devil and spirits. I've seen those YouTube vlogs and messing with them is just not my thing.

"Calm down Soph it's just a myth, I'm sure there's no actual spirit here. Put your fingers here." He said placing down his fingers on top of the triangle. I put my fingers down too, believing him, but part of me was still shaking.

"Okay, now you ask a question and the triangle thing will move giving us both a response." He said shrugging his shoulders. Jeez I wonder how many times he's played this thing.

"Is there an evil spirit here?" I asked scared to death.

"Good question Soph." Harvey said. We both waited for what seemed like hours but then the triangle started moving.

"Oh fu- Harvey I swear you better be the one that's moving this." I said glaring at him.

"...Soph I'm not moving it- I was just about to ask if you were" He said with a panicked, serious look on his face. I remained quiet knowing we actually summoned a demon into his house.

*Yes*

"....are you an evil spirit or a good spirit?" I asked calmly. Most of them were evil from what I've seen, but I can still have hope- right?

*evil*

Oh no- this wasn't good.

"What do you want from us-" Harvey asked.

*lets play truth or dare*

I looked at Harvey and he looked at me.

"I guess we are gonna have to play it." He said shrugging.

"UH NO not today Satan." I said as I grabbed the board and threw it outside.

"NO SOPH! You have to say goodbye that's the rules of the game!! If you do they will get angry-" before Harvey could finish that sentence, the lights started flickering on and off. I looked around and clung on tight to Harvey's arm.

"We made the spirit angry. We gotta get that board back." He said as he walked to the back and grabbed the board that I had previously thrown, and brought it back into the house.

"Okay we are here. Truth or dare. Ask us." He said with confidence. Awww he looked adorable when he was serious- AHEM not the time.

*Truth or dare Sophia?*

Why was it always me first?! "Dare." I said looking at the board.

*Kiss Harvey or else he will pay for the consequences*

"No I can't! He's with Sky and...I still umm...love Joey...yeah." I said. That was a fat lie.

*No you don't, now kiss him*
