Chapter 17: Hangout with the guys

It was 5 Pm and I was getting ready to leave my house to hangout with Hailey and the guys.

Leon was Hailey's boyfriend. It was cute cause they were so in love and always did everything together- they were literally like an OTP...is that what you guys call good relationships? (See picture above ^^)

Connor was really sweet and nice, don't get me wrong! He just had a naughty side to him. I heard he got with almost every girl in the school...except me! 🤓

Lars was sweet as well! He was with carter, and they never fought nor broken up before. It was cute how their relationship was as well. Carter was Lars's Princess, and they did the most funniest things like jump into shopping carts! One time I got convince to do it and once I did I hurt my back- not gonna lie, but the pictures were worth it.

Spencer wasn't really talkative. He had a quiet side to him almost, and only hung around his boyfriend, Jay, or Sophia or Lars it technically the OGs. He seemed nice when I met him.

Harvey...well we already know a lot about him. Something about him gives me the fizzy feeling inside- sort of like butterflies! I'd turn red whenever he'd smile at me...his smiles were amazing- heck even his eyes- I don't know just something about him gets me going. I didn't know if my crush was gonna stay forever when I heard he liked to get with girls too, but he can hold a stable relationship without cheating, so my crush stood there. It's been 7 months...

I walked to Leon's house and knocked on the door. Leon opened it and smiled.

"Hey Emma! Glad you could make it!" Leon said, hugging me and letting me in.

"Hey Leon! And no problem! Thanks for letting me come over!" I said as I walked in and down the hallways to the living room. The boys were playing video games, until they looked up and saw me.

"EMMA!" They all said in unison. I turned a little pink and giggled.

"Hi guys!" I said greeting them all. I didn't see Harvey, but I saw his car parked when I was walking. I wonder what he was doing.

"Hailey's in the guest room on the left." Leon said. I nodded and went down the hallway into the left. I opened the door, but Hailey wasn't in there and instead it was Harvey....CHANGING!

"AHHH Sorry! I didn't mean to- I thought Harvey- I mean Hailey was in here- yeah." I said turning red and turning around, so that I wasn't watching him change.

"No Em it's all good! I was just putting on my pajamas anyways since I'm staying the night. You can look now." He said laughing.

I turned around, still red as a tomato.
"Y-Y- you're staying the night?" I asked looking at his cute onesie. Awwwww.

"Yeah! Are you?" He asked.

"I- well I- I-I- don't have any pajamas, and I haven't asked Leon." I said shrugging.

"Oh come on Emma you don't have to ask him! He's chill with anyone. Here, take this." He said, throwing an extra pair of pajamas at me.

"A-A-Are you sure? I can just g-go home and get some." I said nodding.

"Nah it's alright you can wear them." He said smiling.

"Thank you, Harvey." I said nodding. I got lost into his green eyes, but it wasn't until moments later Hailey barged into the room looking at us both.

"EM- Ah Sorry didn't mean to interrupt." Hailey said, looking at us both.

Harvey and I looked at each other and then shook our heads.

"Nothings going on don't worry." He said, looking embarrassed.

"Yeah- n-n-n-nothing." I said nodding.

Hailey nodded and pulled me out of the room before I could say anything else because she knew things were getting awkward. We both went into the right guest bedroom, and she screamed at the top of her lungs.

"EMMA WHAT DID YOU GUYS DO! HE GOT SO CLOSE TO YOU OMG I THOUGHT YOU GUYS MADE OUT- YOU NEED HOLY WATER- WHAT HAPPENED?! TELL ME EVERYTHING!!" She said as she sprinkled holy water on my face and held up a cross.

Hailey was funny like this. She was so innocent and pure. She never did anything naughty and is still a virgin, like me! That's why she was my best friend, cause we could always relate and tell each other everything.

"Calm down!! Nothing happened! And he wasn't that close! I just causally walked in on him cause he was changing but I thought you were in the room since Leon told me the one on the left!" I said turning pink.

"Oh my god- YOU WALKED IN ON HIM CHANG-"

"SHHH!" I said covering her mouth. "I didn't see anything! All I saw was his boxers!" I said. Her eyes widened and she wanted to scream but couldn't. I let go of her and she calmed down.

"Girl you got him in the bag. You're definitely gonna get him to be your boyfriend in the future." She said nodding.

"I wish hails. Also- he gave me his clothes and said I could use them as PJs!" I said holding up his pants and hoodie.

"NO WAY!!" She said jumping up and down in excitement.

"Yes way!" I said smiling. "Im gonna put them on! I'll meet you outside in a few!" I said as I walked into the bathroom to change. I got into his plaid bottoms and black thrasher hoodie and walked out and down the hall. Everyone looked up again as I came out, this time Harvey smiled as he saw me, making me turn pink.

"My clothes look big on you Em." Harvey said.

"Y-y-Yeah but it's okay cause I'm warm at least." I said nodding.

All the boys went "Awww" in sync and I shook my head.

"N-no awwws this is a friendship." I said laughing.

"Yeah...just a friendship." Harvey said nodding.

I turned my head at Hailey to see she was eating the chips and salsa. I giggled and went over to her, getting a separate plate and eating with her. She nudged my arm and I rolled my eyes playfully, knowing where she was getting at.

The rest of the night was full of video games and food. As we were going to bed, I got a room with Hailey, and the boys in another. I got up to go to the bathroom but I couldn't help and overhear the boys conversation.

"I can't be like that with sky- I gotta tell her I like someone else."

It sounded like Harvey. I put my ear up more to the door to hear better.

"What is she gonna day when she finds out you like her sister." Leon said.

I almost choked on my oxygen. Harvey liked me?! No way. Not possible. I'm nothing compared to my sister- in fact I'm more of a dork! I leaned off the door before they caught me and I ran back into Haileys room. She was already sleeping, so I shook my head and turned off the light. I went under the covers and fell asleep not trying to think about what just happened.
