Chapter 33: Honey, Im Home!

-Time Skip-

Today was the day Harvey and I were finally let out of jail. It's been two months since the incident, and I forgave him at some point but I definitely was still mad at him. Of course I wasn't gonna hit him back because I loved him and he's kind of a...well...noodle.

It didn't hurt at all when he punched me I was just mad he did it to begin with.

My parents and James picked me up and boy, were they happy.

My parents signed the papers and when I got out of the handcuffs my mom looked at me angrily and turned away storming off to the car. No hi, no hug, nothing.

"I can't believe you went to jail again, Sophia." James said shaking his head.

"Your mother and I are very disappointed with your behavior. When you get home you're grounded. You're going to stare at a wall and think about what you did." My dad said as we got into the car and drove out of the parking lot.

"That's what I did in jail dad! Literally! Why are you gonna take more things away-"

"Sophia! Your father said you're grounded and that means YOU'RE GROUNDED! PERIOD! Look at how bad it looks on the family! You've been to jail more times than any other avengers kid! Just be normal for once! Please!" My mother said yelling at me.

James rubbed my back for support because he knew I was upset and he couldn't say anything to comfort me or else mom and dad would've gone off on him too.

I inhaled and exhaled before checking my phone to see a twitter update from...Sky. Bleh.

I closed my phone still angry at Sky and Harvey becoming a couple. The more and more I think about it the more angry I get.

I decided to be in a upset mood for the rest of the car ride back home, so I put my headphones in and played one song that would put me in a crying mood.

I got home and went straight to my room, slamming my door as tears fell down my eyes.

I grabbed the picture frame on my desk that Tori took of Harvey and I piggybacking to his house. The frame said "Our adventures will last forever." I wiped my tears before I hid it under my bed, leaving it there for good.

I sometimes regret ever dating him because my heart just keeps mending itself and then slowly breaking down again.

"I told you he was no good for you."

I looked up and saw James opening the door quietly as he sat next to me on my bed and held me as I cried into his chest.

"I-I hate h-him I hate her I hate e-everything a-a-and everyone." I said choking in my tears.

(A/N: Bill is that you? Jk jk haha)

"Shhh it's okay let's take a chill pill. Wanna go on a walk downtown or something?" James asked me as he rubbed my back.

"N-no I-I just w-wanna st-stay home." I said as I lifted up my covers and fell into my bed.

"Okay, I see. It's one of those days. I'll bring you your chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream and your favorite movies mkay?" He said as he went downstairs to go grab my things.

I smiled to myself before pulling out my phone to text my two best friends.

I closed my phone and got comfortable in my sheets as James came back with my ice cream in a bowl and a bunch of movies in the other.

"Thank you so much James." I said smiling as I hugged him.

"Anytime. If you need me I'll be right here." He said before he left my room to go back to his room.

It wasn't until moments later I saw Lars and Spencer climb into my bedroom window with their pajamas on.

"Hello boys." I said laughing at the pajamas Carter got Lars last Christmas that said, 'I❤️Carter' imprinted on them and Spencer's Newsies pajamas.

They both hopped into bed and looked at the selection of movies I had laying out.

"It's my turn to pick everyone." Lars said as he inserted the Shrek disc into my DVD player.

The rest of the night we ate ice cream and I fell asleep peacefully next to Lars and Spencer.

I gotta love my best friends.
