At the beginning of time itself, nothing existed, except a giant cloud of gas. This cloud of "gas" had a name, Diamie. One day Diamie got tired of just floating around in darkness and solidified into a sphere. She called it Eaith, which adapted into the modern day word Earth.

She admired her creation for a while, which to her was a few millennia.

After that, she got bored again and decided to make some new creations to place on Eaith. She thought of a structure that mimics the human race today. She made two types of these creation: one male, one female. Diamie called the males gods and the female goddesses. They were larger than the average human and had magical powers. She made six gods and six goddesses, twelve in total.

These beings were immortal of course, because death hadn't been invented yet.

They all had the basic powers: flying, teleportation, shapeshifting, and invisibility. On top of those abilities, they had the powers relating to what god/goddess they were of. For example, Willow is the goddess of food and controlled growth.

Each god was in charge of one or more aspects, and they were of course, immortal.

To keep everyone in order the gods and goddesses elected a King, Queen, and a council of gods. The King was Adonis god of the sky. The Queen was Clio goddess of nature.

The gods still exist today, and sometimes they get involved with mortals on Earth.

For example, if winter came early, blame Selene, goddess of winter she always wants to be in the spotlight. Or if your crops died, blame Willow. She can get bitter sometimes. If the soccer ball was totally supposed to make it into the net but missed, blame Regis. Or how you failed your math test when you studied all night long? That was Molly, goddess of tests.

Basically, there was a god for everything, even for toothpaste. Enough prologue, for now, let's get on with the story.

Hello! My name is Siri. Even if no one reads this, I wanted to give a little bit of a backstory about myself and this story. I had this idea a long time ago so I decided to stop procrastinating and just put the story out there. So today 2/13/19 I am finally posting the prologue to my "story". I hope you stay and enjoy Juniper's Adventure.
