We buried him under an oak tree in the yard. I had to create that part of the mindscape just for this, but it was worth the effort. No one saw the scalpel he had in his pocket. Logan stopped dissecting things after that. He buried that hobby with Virgil. Patton was never the same after that. He hardly ever smiled or made jokes. He started crying every time there was a thunderstorm, or whenever a scary movie was on. He started wearing long sleeves, too.
I have to give him credit, his taste in music was actually really good. Patton couldn't bring himself to go into Vi's room again and Logan was never the sentimental type, so I took it upon myself to make use of his things. I still listen to all his music, even though it hurts every time.
As for Deceit, well, I never saw him again. Good riddance.
He hurt Patton and Logan.
He hurt me.
He hurt Virgil.
And for that, I can never forgive him.
I miss you, Virgil. I miss you, I miss you, I miss you. I know you weren't happy here, as much as I tried to make things alright for you. I hope you're happy, wherever you are.
Goodbye, Storm Cloud
