I paced around the room, silent. Unbeknownst to me, Dee stood in the door way. He had told me this morning he would be out all day, and I would spend the day alone. Again.

Happy singles awareness day to me.

I wanted to write a post card to Webs, but I was having trouble finding the words to. I wanted to tell him happy Valentine's Day, but I was worried he would take it the wrong way.

"You'll pace a divot in the floor at this rate." Dee said, making me jump out from my skin.

"Woah, holy moly. Knock next time please!" I rubbed my face with my hands and he laughed.

"Noted. Ah, there's something at the lobby for you. Ps."

I frowned and rolled my eyes. "If its a card, just tell them to send it up..."

He smirked, the corner of his lips turning up into a wry smile. "Yeah. I'll tell them to send it up." He left the room, leaving me to pace more.

A while later, I heard a knuckle wrap on my door frame and I looked up to see Peter. He held flowers in his arms,  a small box of chocolates, and a little hand-made stuffed dog. His face was red, but he smiled anyways.

"Webs! What- how did you get here?"

Before he could reply T stuck his head in from the side. "Hey Runt! Kid here wanted to visit for the day so I flew him over."

Eyes wide, I was shocked. Uh, what? I blinked, confused and unable to say anything.

Peter looked down at the things in his arms and sucked in a breath. "Um, here." He smiled and offered them to me. I took them, confused. "Mr. Stark and Mr. Rhodes were talking about how you always call Valentine's Day 'singles awareness day' and I wanted to give you something so you didn't feel so lonely." He still held onto the dog, shifting it from hand to hand. "I'm sorry, I'm not really good with these things and-"

"It's sweet. Thank you." I cut him off, finding my tongue again. I set my arm-full of things down on my desk and spun to give him a hug. "I love it, I'm just really surprised to see you here."

He was stunned, but returned the hug. When we let go, he gave me a toothy smile. I took the dog, shaking my head. "You made this?"

"I'm actually not the best at sewing, but I was at the store and they didn't have any little dogs left, so I made one." Webs rubbed the back of his neck and sighed. "It's alright."

"I couldn't if you paid me. Thanks, Webby. Seriously." I gave him a hug once more and he laughed.

"You're welcome."
