Mom and Carolyn are back at the table while Nathan moves and we all slide into our spots. I look down at my plate to see a small salad, when I remember ordering broccoli and chicken alfredo. I manage to flag down a waitress.
"I apologize, but I didn't order this. I ordered the broccoli and chicken alfredo dish."
"Miss, I'm afraid you did order that." She says before turning around and walking away.
Well, might as well eat it.
I take a bite and I try so hard not to cringe, so I take a sip of my wine. We eat quietly and once we finish, Nathan stands up.
"Hazel, care to dance?" I muster up a fake smile and slip my hand into his as he leads me to the dance floor and we begin dancing. We weren't dancing for long before I feel myself start to get dizzy and lightheaded. I gently shake my head, but all I see is Nathan looking at me, almost with a prideful expression in his eye. I can feel people start to look at me and whisper because most likely, I look drunk. I try to make eye contact with Nat or Noah from the table, but it seems like Nathan is trying to keep me from doing just that. I begin to struggle against his hold, but he's stronger than I give him credit for.
"Come with me willingly." He whispers in my ear and I shiver, letting myself become dead weight and he struggles to carry me.
"What did you do to Hazel?" Noah asks and I relax at his voice. I look to see Nat and Peter standing next to him.
"She's drunk. I was just about to take her outside to get her some fresh air" Nathan says, but I can tell Natalie doesn't buy that.
"She knows her limit. Get your slimy paws off my sister you creep." Natalie sneers and Peter has to hold her back. I make eye contact with Noah and see the anger in his eyes.
"Nathan, I'm not gonna ask you again." Noah says with an edge to his voice, which would've sounded threatening and Nathan leans his head to my ear.
"Till we meet again, you will be mine." He whispers before gently shoving me towards Noah and he walks outside. I feel Noah and Peter stand on either side of me, each supporting me while Natalie goes to tell Carolyn that we are leaving and thank you for dinner. The valet goes to get the car and Natalie looks at me.
"What happened? I know you're not drunk because you sure as hell know how to handle your wine." She says just as the guys help me into the backseat and Natalie sits next to me. A jacket lays on my shoulders, feeling warm. I feel my eyes start to close and I try to fight it.
"Shit! Hazel, please snap out of it." Natalie says just as I feel my eyes close and I fall onto Nat's shoulder. "Noah, get us to a hospital, stat. Please." She begs and sniffles just as I lose consciousness.

I feel myself open my eyes, but still not able to move and I silently started crying.
"Hazel!" Natalie exclaims, rushing over to me and Noah holds me in his arms, well as far as he can do with the IV in my arm. I cry into Noah's shirt, scared. Someone walks in and I tense up, holding onto dear life and Noah notices because he turns his body against the intruder.
"Good. She's awake. I was starting to get worried." The only thing I can think of is Nathan and what he said to me. I hear footsteps come around to the other side and I slink into Noah's embrace.
"H, what's wrong?" He whispers and I start shaking so he asks Natalie to get me his jacket and he wraps it around me, but still keeps contact with me.
"I'm scurred." I slur.
"Doc, what did you find out?" Natalie asks and he stands at the foot of my bed and I can tell it's bad news.
"She was drugged, roofied to be exact."
"Is it out of her system?"
"It seems to be hanging on longer than usual since she's been out for about eight hours." I feel my eyes get sleepy.

"Oh man, it was Nathan. I'm gonna kill him."
"Violence is not the answer, Noah."
I stir awake and still feel the jacket on me.
"Damnit." I whisper and everyone looks at me before rushing over to my side.
"What's wrong?"
"I have the mother of all fricking hangovers." I say just as a wave of nausea hits me. I point to my throat and Noah scrambles for a bucket and I throw up in it. Natalie holds my hair back as I continue throwing up.
"Okay. Perfect, it's getting out of her system." The doctor says, spooking me. "Hi, I'm Dr. Montgomery." He says. He's an older gentleman who has the whole salt-and-pepper hair, kind brown eyes, and stands a little shorter than Noah. He has a stethoscope around his neck and a clipboard in his hand, jotting down notes on my condition.
"Doc, what happened to me?" I ask and I can feel Noah and Natalie tense up slightly.
"My dear, you were roofied. By any chance were you drinking an alcoholic beverage?" I nod and he continues. "This is why it stayed in your system for so long."
'You will be mine'
"Oh shit." I whisper, starting to slightly freak out. I try to pull out the IV, but two arms hold me down and I struggle against them.
"Hazel, hey your safe." Noah's soothing voice calms me down, but I still struggle to get out of his embrace. "Hazel, what's wrong." I look at Natalie with pleading in my eyes and she understands.
"Noah and Peter, can you please leave the room?" She asks and I can tell Noah doesn't want to, but Peter grabs him to pull him out of the room. The doctor turns to face us.
"Hazel?"
"Someone is trying to kidnap me."
