"Life is like one big book shelf. Every day is like a paragraph. Every month is like a chapter. Every year is like a book. Every book on that shelf is your life. Keep adding to that shelf of yours and make it something incredible."

Alexis P.O.V"Oh come on, four times already?" Jaden complained, one hand on Syrus's back as the poor, blue headed Slifer Red puked over the side of the boat again.
Syrus, who looked white as snow, looked up at Jaden in annoyance. "I can't help it if I'm seasick, Jaden. Every time the boat rocks, I get-" His eyes went wide, and he rushed to the railing again.
Jaden rolled his eyes, just as Yusei came out of the lower decks of the ship and saw the poor state that Syrus was in. He chuckled.
"I guess he isn't use to the sea?" he asked, leaning against the railing beside Jaden.
Jaden scoffed. "I've only just found out. I've known and studied with this little guy for three and a half years, and not once did he tell me that he gets seasick."
I giggled at that, a small smirk on my face as I took the whole scene in. It had been nearly half a day so far, and yet the scene of Jaden helping Syrus throw up over the railings of the boat made me laugh in my head.
It had been nearly two days since me and Jaden began dating. I had to admit - telling Jaden that I loved him was hard work, considering the fact that we'd been through so much. Now after that night however, I felt more at ease - like nothing bad was gonna happen for a while. I didn't say it out loud due to not wanting to jinx the situation.
It felt a little weird though, without Atticus, Chazz and Yugi here with us - like...the usual gang wasn't its usual self. The plan was that Chazz and Atticus stayed with Yugi in case something happened in Domino City. Not only that, but they stayed behind to warn our families as best they can. If something were to happen, they'd let us know.
Just then, Aster came up from belowdecks with his jacket off. "Alright, I spoke to the captain, and he said we should be at Duel Academy in the next seven hours at the latest. I recommend that you should get some rest in that small amount of time. And also to warn you to buckle in."
I frowned. "Why? Is there something wrong?"
Aster grimaced, before looking at Jaden. "For someone who wanted to get to Duel Academy this fast, you sure picked a hell of a time to take a boat ride there."
He then brought out his laptop and placed it on the nearby table, the screen showing the image of an impending storm.
"The team at KaibaCorp Central just released the news," Aster said, clicking the screen to show a close up of the storm. "This storm is directly in the way of us getting to Duel Academy. It's been raging on for days this far out, and let me tell you right now: it ain't pretty to be anywhere near."
"So, why don't we go around it instead then?" Yusei asked, looking at the screen as well.
"Because by the time we would even do that, the storm would've increased in size by then," Aster pointed out. "We've got no choice but to go through it head on."
Jaden looked out to sea, just as the edge of a black cloud came into view. "I hope you're right about this. Otherwise, we're on the business end of Davy Jones Locker."

Jaden P.O.VWell, Aster did say it was gonna be bumpy for the next few hours, but I didn't know that it was gonna be this rough.
I was below decks on one of the chairs, trying to get as much rest as possible before we arrived, but the constant rocking of the boat made it impossible to sleep. Alexis, who was lying in one of the hammocks, was the only one of us who got any sleep. How she was able to do that, I would never know. It made me pray for me trying to sleep like her.
