Chapter 1- New student

Reader's POV

I woke up to my alarm and crawl out of my warm cozy bed. I make my bed as I hear my aunt calling out saying that breakfast is ready. I then did my hair, brushed my teeth, and got dressed. I go downstairs to eat breakfast and go to school.

Reiji's POV

My brothers and I were in the limo on the way to school. I was reading a book as deadbeat...err....Shu was sleeping, Ayato was talking with Yui, Kanato was laughing with his teddy, Laito was looking at girls in bikinis and sometimes even naked girls, and Subaru was looking out the window; keeping his gaze away from all of us which is no surprise. We soon arrived at school and I immediately went to class early. The bell rang signalling that class started in 5 minutes. As soon as class started, the teacher said to us.

"Okay class. We have a new student with us today so, treat her with respect. Can you please stand up and introduce yourself?"

I looked to see a girl with hazel brownish hair with emerald green eyes wearing a shirt with purple and blue hearts and black skirt that has a purple lightning bolt complete with a black moon choker and fishnet leggings. She spoke in a charming yet calm tone of voice.

Reader's POV

I stood next to the teacher and smiled cheerfully.

"Hello, I'm (Y/N) (L/N). It's nice to meet all of you."

The girls greeted me back saying "hi" or "welcome" and the boys muttering to each other. They said things like.

"Oh my god, she's so hot."

"She is so beautiful."

"She's so hot! It should be illegal!"

The teacher smiled and directed me to my seat.

"We hope you like it here. Take a seat next to Reiji other there."

She pointed to a desk next to a very attractive young man with dark hair and glasses. I gladly and obediently took my seat next to him. I shot him a smile and began to take notes from the board, even highlighting the important details and points. Soon class was over and it was time for study hall where we could go anywhere we wanted. I was on my way to the library and something went wrong.

Reiji's POV

I was on my way to the library to study, but I was thinking about the new student. Her hand writing was neat and the way she wrote her notes was so organized. I thought of how her voice sounded. It was so soothing like as if she were an angel. Then I saw her on the staircase going upstairs. I heard a band of heavy footsteps coming her way and saw a terrible sight.

Reader's POV

I was reading but I wasn't paying attention. Two athletic boys were chasing each other and pushed me backwards yelling.

"Watch out Newbie! Coming through!"

I started to fall backwards down the stairs. My eyes widened in fear and terror that I would be injured very badly. My books, notes, and assignments flew from my arms. I close my eyes tightly just waiting to feel pain from the fall, but it never came. I open my eyes slowly to find myself in the dark haired young man from my class. His voice went chills down my spine.

"Are you alright?"

He said and I responded with a shaky voice.

"Yes sir. Thank you."

He lets me down on my feet and he volunteered to help me pick up my notebooks. I got my books and the man picked up my notes and notebooks. He handed them to me and saw the book that I was reading.

Reiji's POV

I can't believe that a being such as myself would save a mortal girl. I was as if my body would react before I knew I moved. I shook the feeling off and gave her notebooks back. I saw the book she was reading, it was Vampire Academy.

"Got a thing for vampires?"

I asked curiously and she replied in the same cheerful voice like before.

"Yeah, I think that their interesting."

I then saw a science book in her arms. I actually smiled at her slightly.

"Are you heading to the library?"

"Yes. I was going to study science a little bit because I'm not that good at science at all."

I decided to help her with it since I knew that finals were actually tomorrow.

"I can help you. The finals are tomorrow, so I can tutor you if you want."

"I'd like that. I really appreciate you taking time out of your day to help me."

"It's nice to know that someone is appreciative and has manners. I'm so sorry that those boys pushed you."

"It's fine. Your name is Reiji, right?"

"Yes, and your (Y/N). Meet me in the library before the science final."

"Alright and thanks again."

"Welcome. I hope to see you around."

"See you later Reiji."

I wave to him and left. I was blushing and thought to myself of how much of a gentlemen he is.

Reiji's POV

I felt my cheeks become dusted with blood making my face faintly pink. She is truly a beautiful young woman. Her skin soft like a rose petal, her eyes green like a four leaf clover, her thin lips were a natural flesh pink color, and the smell of her blood. I continued my day thinking about her.
