Chapter 8- New School Day

Reader's POV

My alarm went off and woke me up. I flutter my eyes open and slowly get out of bed. I thought I was still at the Sakamaki Manor but I instantly realized I was at my house. I did my usual routine in the morning and out the door I went with my bag into my uncle's car. My uncle started asking me questions about Reiji.

"Is Reiji nice?"

"Yes, at least to me he is. Most girls at school try everything to get his attention but he's clearly not interested. Kizana was one of them and jealousy got the best of her."

"Kizana was the one that stabbed you?"

"Yeah. Reiji was really mad at her. She got expelled I think."

"Good. She deserved it."

"Reiji is the president of the student council too."

My uncle's eyes widen in surprised.

"How are his grades?"

"He's one of the smartest students there. He works really hard every day and he has 5 brothers."

Soon enough we arrived at school. I grabbed my bag, waved bye to my uncle, and walked inside. I got to my locker and got ambushed by my friends. They hugged me with all their might that I almost fell backwards with them. They were crying their eyes out.

"(Y/N) Are you okay?!"

"(Y/N) we thought you were dead!"

Moka and Kurumu cried. I reassured them that I was fine. I told them the whole situation of what happened to me, Reiji, and Kizana. They all talked mad crap about Kizana. The bell rang soon enough telling everyone to go to class. I looked on my phone and checked my class schedule.

(Y/N) (L/N)

1st Hour- Ceramics
2nd Hour- Physical Education
3rd Hour- Algebra
Study Hall
4th Hour- Sewing
5th Hour- Physical Science (Chemistry)

I went to ceramics class and got to meet everyone including the teacher obviously. Afterwards, I went to the gym and to my surprise Reiji was there.

Reiji's POV

I was in the gym waiting for class to start then I saw (Y/N) at the corner of my eye. She walked up to me and hugged me. I smiled and hugged her back.

"Hello (Y/N). How are you doing?"

"Good so far. Thank you. What about you?"

"Better now that I get to see your little face everyday."

She blushed light pink. I looked at her outfit. She was wearing a black and purple short sleeve shirt with a little bit of black lace in the back, blue skinny jeans with black shoes, and of course she was still wearing her moon choker.

"You look very cute today."

"You always say that but thanks anyway."

Reader's POV

I compared classes with Reiji to see if we had any other classes together and we had not two classes but three classes together! We have Physical Education, Algebra, and Physical Science together! Other than those classes with Reiji, the other two classes he had were Honors Geometry for first hour and Honors English for fourth hour. Class started and the teacher began attendence. I was happy that I'm in three classes with Reiji so, I think I spent most of the hours smiling wide.

Later on with the day it was study hall, I was in the library writing in my journal. Reiji's voice interrupted my concentration.

"(Y/N)?"

I jumped at Reiji's voice and laughed that I got scared so easily then apologized.

"Haha. Sorry Reiji, I'm just really jumpy so, I get spooked easily."

He snickered holding back a laugh but smiled. Reiji sat down next to me and talked with me for a bit until it was time for fourth hour, the hour where we part ways.

A few hours later...

I was now in physical science. I was seated next to Reiji and I was happy I got to sit with him. The teacher explained that we would be working with chemicals and toxic substances. But in my opinion, you know what they say about a teenage boy and girl in chemistry. We were also informed that the person we're sitting next to us is our chemistry partner for the entire trimester. I was excited that I'd be working with Reiji as well. Soon, school was over and I went to the music room.

Reiji's POV

I was in a student council meeting with the others. We were making posters for the end of the year party on the last day. Soon, we were done making them and hung them up around the school. I was finished hanging up one of them near the music room and I heard singing. The singing was so enchanting and I followed to where the sweet voice came from. I came to the music room and saw (Y/N) playing guitar and singing.

Reader's POV

I finished my practice and Reiji came out of no where. I jumped out of shock.

"Reiji, how much of that did you hear?!"

"Most of it. I didn't know you can play guitar. Are gonna participate in one of the final events on the last day?"

" Yes and it's in the gym. You'll be impressed. "

"I better be. When did you start playing guitar?"

"Since I was six years old and I can play the drums also since I was six."

" Wow. That's impressive. "

The bell rang telling any lingering students to go home and Reiji extended his hand towards me after I got the guitar in its case.

"You want me to take you home?"

I smile and take his hand. We got in the limo and was driven to my home. I thanked Reiji for bringing me home and kissed his cheek. I got in the house and looked back to see the second eldest rubbed his cheek and smiling with a lot hope in his smirk and eyes. I bet he was blushing all the way back to his house.

Author's Note: Sorry I haven't updated in forever. I've been busy and I fell on my back recently so, I'm gonna be updating much more than usual.
