Chapter 21- I Love Only You

Reader's POV

All I felt was pain in my back as Reiji laid me on a table. The bullet must've been lodged in my spine. I hear Reiji grab scissors and cuts my crop top open. I blush as my bare back was now exposed to him. I then felt 3 or 4 prickes on my back.

"Ow."

"Sorry, but to get the bullet out I have to numb your back."

"It's fine. I trust you."

I felt nothing but Reiji's hands on my back; I also heard metal objects clattering. I couldn't feel much because of the numbing drug Reiji injected in my back. Probably about 15 minutes later, Reiji finally pulled the bullet out. He then removed his glove and rolled up his sleeve.

"Here, hopefully my blood will help you."

I bit down onto his wrist earning a pain filled grunt from the vampire.

Reiji's POV

Still in her demonic form as she was drinking my blood, her bullet wound and the slit I made on her back healed almost immediately. The bite in her demonic form is a bit more painful than her normal self. She pulled her sharp teeth away from my arm and she sat back up to look at me. I put the moon seal back on her choker around her neck. She returned back to her human form, but still wearing the same clothes from the demon. She was holding her top up since I cut it to get to the bullet wound.

"I'll be back in a minute. Stay here."

I left to get one of my shirts for her from my room. I entered the lab and gave the shirt to her.

"Here, this should cover you up."

She took the shirt and put it on. I turn around to give her privacy, then she put her hand on my shoulder telling me to was okay to look now. I turn to see her in the shirt.

"Looks better on you than it does on me."

I joked which caused her giggle.

"What is Shu's deal? Thinking he can try to steal you from me?"

"He can't steal me from you. I never been attracted to lazy guys."

"Still him putting his hands on you, flirting, and telling you he can treat you better than I can."

Reader's POV

I hug him. He immediately embraced back.

"Reiji, he can never take me away from you. Truth is that I never loved anyone before you. I never had an interest in men until I met you, so I'm saying that you're my first boyfriend. When I commit to a relationship, I do commit to it. I love only you, Reiji."

He was intense and after I said that he sighed calming down. He hugged me tighter, then he lifted my chin up with his pointer finger and thumb finger. He kissed me on the lips. This kiss was passionate yet hungry leaving me breathless after pulling away. He lifts me up to where my legs are wrapped around his waist and sits me on his desk. I pull away from his steamy kiss gasping for breath. I feel him move the shirt out of the way to expose my shoulder then he bites down. I didn't flinch at all to his powerful bite instead I just sighed in relief and embraced him.

"I love only you, Reiji."

He groaned into the bite and wraps one of his arms around my body and the other holding my head going through my long black hair. He pulls away from my neck licking the dribbling blood from the corner of his mouth with tongue. I adjusted the shirt and kiss Reiji on the cheek.

"Reiji, how did you know how to get the bullet out?"

"I've been studying to become a doctor and as of right now I'm a medical student. It's quite interesting."

"Thank you."

He sighs and hugs me again.

"I thought I lost you for a split second. I don't want to lose you."

"That will never happen. Never ever."

I reassured him.

"I got to explain to my brothers what just happened and what you are."

"I'll go with you."

We went downstairs to find his five other brothers still in complete shock. Reiji reassures them that everything's fine.

"You have no need to be scared. (Y/N) was just defending herself. She is a fox demon half human hybrid. She was in an abusive situation with her parents. She was able to get help and that put her into her uncle and aunt's custody. The moon around her neck is a seal that keeps the real form of herself away, but as soon as someone pulls her seal off her true form awakens."

I used my water powers to show the other brothers what I'd been through. They were all shocked. After I finished showing them my water powers and my past, I gave more information.

"I can do much more than that. I also control ice and snow."

"Shu, you should apologize to (Y/N). You did rip off the seal from neck while she was struggling."

Reiji declared. Shu stayed silent then finally spoke after eight silent seconds.

"I was just joking around with both of you. Apologizing is too bothersome."

I rolled my eyes at him. I knew that if Shu had become my boyfriend, he would be been a lost cost. He would lie around all day and possibly not do anything for anyone and maybe even his girlfriend. Reiji, however actually does something with his life and has loads of hobbies. I turn to Reiji and whisper in his ear.

"Just leave that good for nothing to it. He's worthless like this."

Reiji and me left for his room to have some tea. He made herbal tea and poured my cup first then his own. He sat with me on his couch and read to me. I eventually fell asleep on his shoulder soon after finishing my sweet beverage. I just sat there with my head resting on his shoulder.

Reiji's POV

Once I was done reading, I looked to see that my sweet little (Y/N) in a deep slumber next to me. I chuckle to myself and stroke her cheek. She groaned and muttered my name out loud.

"Reiji....."

I picked her up and placed her on the bed. I covered her little body and then I realized her hair grew longer than ever. It was now over the bed and on the floor. I'll help her cut it tomorrow though. I kissed her forehead and fell asleep next to her. Goodnight, my darling.
