Training with Steve

"Stop relying on your arms. Use all of your strength." Steve said firmly. He put me on a punching bag because i apparently need to work on strength. Little does he know that he's not the only super solider in the building. I am also a super solider.

I sat on a bench in a huff. "I have strength. I just need to up my hand to hand a lot more." I said then drank some of my water. Steve stood there trying to figure out the next move. He went to a boxing ring and stood there with his hands like he was going to fight someone.

"Well come on. I can't punch air and expect it to punch back. Let's see what you got." He said. I rolled my eyes looking at him, and realized he was being serious. i put my bottle down and walked to the ring and climbed in. I got into my stance, and Steve looked at me taking in my stance and seemed to be satisfied with it. We circled around the ring for a little bit before Steve tried to punch me. I blocked it and the other punch.

I punched his jaw and  he fell. Steve kicked his leg out to knock my feet out from under me but I jumped over them. When I landed on my feet I felt a foot hit my chin and fell backwards. I put my feet on the mat and pushed myself up like in the karate movies.

I went to punch him with my left hand and he grabbed it. I tried with my right and he grabbed that one as well. I jumped up, kicked his chest with both feet and fliped in the air. I sat on his ribs making sure his legs can't move either and did the same thing to him that i did to Clint.

Steve laid there looking at me. I couldn't figure out his facial expression.

"That was a good session." He said in a whisper. I nodded my head in agreement. We both just kept looking at each other trying to catch our breath. His right hand moved to my thigh and I felt butterflies in my stomach.

"I'm gonna go shower." I said. I got up, grabbed my stuff and left without helping Steve up. I had to leave and figure out why i got butterflies in my stomach. I never did.
