"Young Blood, long time no speak. "
Guwop answered in his thick Spanish accent.
"I know. What's up fam?"
"You know every thing is good down this way, no complaints. What's going on up there?"
King took a deep breath. " Everything man. look, ima just get right too the point. I need some help. A lot of help."
"I'm listening."
"iight so, somebody took my girl from me. I don't know who, and I don't know why. She been missing for like a month now. I been tearing the streets up searching high and low but I can't find shit. I know that you're connected world wide, so I figured you could help me?"
Guwop paused for a minute. "first off, how is business going?"
"Never better. I keep my business and personal life sepearate."
"Good youngblood, good. In that case yes I will help you. I'm gonna put my ear too the streets and as soon a I know something, you will know something.
"Yo, thanks fam!"
"One more thing, don't ever hesitate too come too me for help with anything. you are my most loyal worker. I'll help you as long as you continue too help me."
"No doubt."
With that Guwop hung up the phone.
Kings P.O.V
I felt as if a huge weight had been lifted from my shoulders. My moms always knew exactly what to say or do. I don't know how in the hell she knew about me not contacting Guwop for help, but she did and I'm glad that she did.
I knew Guwop had me. if nobody else could find out information Big Guwop could. Now all I had too do was keep my life straight and together. I had too continue too keep my business running. I had too make sure my soon too be baby mama was good. I had too keep in touch with my boys.
The main thing I had to do though, was stop fucking with this coke. But I needed it too help me get through my days without having Kay with me. Kay was my real drug, my real addiction. So, I needed something else too keep me sane until I had her back in my presence.
Just thinking about her made me want too snort some more coke. Instead of doing that I got up and got ready too go out and check on business. The least I could do was keep it running.
First I drove too check on some of my restaurants and clubs. I picked up a few deposits and kept it moving, not really wanting too socialize. Next I checked on the trap houses. As I was leaving the last one, I ran into Blue and Marcus. I could hear them talking from down the hall but as soon as I walked into the room they stopped talking.
Being the man that I am, with trust issues and the fact that my nerves are real fucked up right now it put me on edge. It really had me feeling like something was up. They we're suppose to be my right and left hand men, but the fact that they stopped talking made me feel as if they were plotting against me or something.
"What's up wit it?" I greeted them.
"Shit man, you know how it go." blue replied.
Marcus didn't even respond he just simply nodded his head. This only increased my suspicion. I stared at him trying too read his face and Body language. He caught me staring and began too stare back. We did this for at least a minute before he finally spoke up.
"The fuck you staring at me for?"
"Because I fucking can."
Marcus shook his head. " I don't have time for yo shit man"
"Yeah right. I'm gonna bounce, continue the conversation that you two were having that had too stop when I walked into the room." I paused and looked at them both briefly. "let me find out y'all some snake niggas on the low."
"Don't even come at us like that man." Marcus said.
I didn't even respond. I fixed my shirt and bounced like I said I was. I didn't have time too be trying too figure out whatever it was that they had going on. I knew one thing for sure though, them niggas better not be schemin' on me. They were the two people I was closes too, but i'd dead both them niggas before I let em dead me.
After checking on business, and having thAt little altercation with my suppose too be friends I was needing a fix more than ever. I couldn't help myself. I went home and went upstairs too get my bag out of my drawer. I took it downstairs and sat at the kitchen table, where I took a few lines in. Then I sat back and just let the drug do it's job.
It had been about 5 hours since I got off the phone with Guwop. I was hoping he would have called by then. So I just sat at the table still drifting from my high just staring at my phone. I was just waiting for it too ring so that I could go get my girl back for the second and last time.
As I was sitting there, Kerry walked into the kitchen. Shit I had forgot she was staying there with me. She walked into the kitchen and noticed that I was just staring at my phone.
"Why are you staring at your phone like that?"
"I'm waiting on someone too call me with some information about my girl." I said without even taking my eyes off of my phone.
She walked over too where I was sitting and wrapped her arms around my shoulders. "king, maybe you should stop stressing yourself. Maybe it's best if, you just stop worrying about her .. for good. She may be dead or something. "
Before I knew it I had jumped up from my seat and was holding the bottom of Kerry's face tightly as I made her look up at me.
"She's not dead, and I will never stop worrying about her. Don't you ever say no shit like that to me again!"
I let her go and pushed her way from me. As I was about too walk off and head too my room my phone rang. I quickly turned around and answered it.
"702 Lori Lane. Drive there right now and tell me what do you see."
I quickly grabbed my keys and sped off towards the address that was just given too me. I arrived there about 10 minutes later.
"All I see is an abandon two story building with a few tricks walking around outside and a few men."
I called one of the men over. "yo, what did that building use too be?"
"Oh, it use too be a whore house a while back. but the owner relocated months ago."
I sighed and told Guwop what the man just told me.
"Sorry youngblood, I guess this was just a dead end. but we are on the right track."
