The rooftop was cold, hard, wet. Credence's back began to ache as he woke up and found himself in Nagini's arms.
Seeing her there he didn't want to move. He laid there a little longer until she finally woke.
"Good morning." She said with a yawn as she rubbed her eyes.
"Morning." He said, pulling her closer.
Just then, the sound of a baby crying could be heard. Credence slid further towards the edge and watched as the mother pushed the child.
Nagini rested her head on his shoulder.
"Let it out, Credence." She said, telling he was hurting. He looked at her in confusion.
"Let out the curse." She smiled, head still on his shoulder. He froze, scared. She seized his hand in comfort and looked at him.
"Go on." She reassured and sure enough he let it go. All the anger and sadness burst out of him as she watched in awe.
"We're free." She smiled, leaning her head on his shoulder once more.
