Nagini's P.O.V
There's this boy who works at the corner store on weekends. I don't know his name or where he's from, but he works there. Every Saturday I get up and go there. I say it's to buy a chocolate bar, but it's just to talk to him. He's very shy.
"Morning." He smiled as he grabbed my usual chocolate bar. I'd been in so many times he just knew what I was having.
"Morning. How are you?" I was just trying to make conversation. He shrugged his shoulders.
"You?" He asked quietly, but loud enough for me to hear.
"Glad that I'm talking to you." I thought.
"Okay." I said instead.
Credence's P.O.V
Every Saturday! Every Saturday she walks in, and she makes my heart stop. I'd ask her name, but that seems too forward, and I'm pretty sure she'd be creeped out.
"Good." I smiled lightly.
"Anything else?" I asked, opening the cash register.
"Um, a can of coke?" She asked, and I pointed to the fridge next to me. As she took it out I noticed how her eyes listen in different lights. Like fireflies. Credence, stop.
"That'll be...." I began, but stopped.
"How much?" She asked, flicking her hair out of her face.
"Free. No charge." I stuttered. Jesus. Did I seriously do that?
"No... you don't have to.." She stammered, taking out her purse.
"No no no. Stop." I said, making her put her purse away.
"Thank you....uh...."
"Credence." I said, practically silently.
"Nagini." She said. What a pretty name.
