Lucy POV
We finally graduated.
"Juvia! Where's Natsu?" I asked. She shrugged, but I swear I saw a smirk on her lips. The whole gang was over and hanging out. It was the day after graduation and we were celebrating.
"Bunny girl' if ya' looking for Natsu he's outside." Gajeel said, I noticed he was beaming with joy.
What the hell is going on? "Why is he outside?" Gajeel shrugged the same way Juvia did. I made my way outside, Juvia and Gajeel following me.
"Lucy," Gray said, grinning nonstop.
"Why are you guys so happy? What happened?!" I demanded. Gray shrugged.
There were flowers all over my driveway. They spelled the words.
'Will you marry me?'
I gasped and Natsu was standing in front of the flowers, grinning nervously. My whole body was shaking.
Marriage?
With Natsu?
"Lucy Heartfilia, will you marry me?" I stared at him for what seemed like hours. "It's okay if you don't..I—I just.." Tears we're down pouring down his face. I laughed.
"Why are you crying? I love you, of course it's a yes." He slipped the beautiful, red and gold ring onto my finger. He cupped my face and kissed me.
We are meant to be..
This is the man I love.
I have no doubt I'll be happy.
"Thank you, Lucy. For doing what I couldn't do, be there for him, okay? For me?" I nodded at Lisanna and she warmly smiled back at me.
