Lucy POV
"Sooo~ when's the big day?" Lisanna asked as I began to cut up some lettuce for the salad we were making.
"We want to do it in the fall. Natsu thinks the wedding theme should be fire, I say it should be something that better shows off our qualities." I rolled my eyes. It was true, Natsu really wanted our wedding to be fire themed.
Lisanna giggled and added the sauce to the spaghetti. "That's Natsu for you."
"That's stuff we can figure out later on, though. I have bigger issues to figure out."
"And what would those issues be?" She asked, stopping to look at me with a concerned look on her face.
"College..I got accepted to Fairy tail university that's like fifteen minutes away from here." I said, biting my lip slightly. Lisanna's eyes widened.
"That's amazing, Lucy! You'll be with Levy and Erza!" She squealed. I smiled and nodded. But my smile quickly disappeared.
"But then how am I supposed go to college and plan a wedding at the same time?" I groaned. "And I haven't told Natsu.."
"Oh..Lucy! You have to tell him, I know you want to study the stars! He'll support your decision. Does he even know you want to study the stars? Planning a wedding will be hard but you could totally get through it! We'll help!" She rambled I just nodded and kept working on the salad.
After Lisanna left and we finished eating, I went back into my room, to see Natsu on my bed with a paper in his hand.
"Lucy..what's this?" He held up the paper. My acceptance letter!
"Natsu, where did you get this?" I made a grab for it but he pulled away.
"Why didn't you tell me Lucy?" I stared at the ground and fiddled with my fingers.
"Because I didn't know how you'd react..I didn't think you'd want me to go to a college with this wedding and —and—"
"I'm so happy for you!"
"I know and I'm—what?" My eyes widened. Is this a dream? There was a wide grin on his face. I couldn't help but smile.
"I said I'm happy for you! How come you didn't tell me?"
"Your alright with this?" He nodded as though it was no big deal.
"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" I wrapped my arms around Natsu and hugged him tightly, smiling.
"I just thought with the wedding and all..."
"Don't worry I've got this under control!" For some reason, this made me even more worried.
