[A/N i'm trying to make this as believable as possible because I've never been in Kj or Cami's situation lmao, so I don't know how they must be feeling or what they should be doing]

[Cami's POV]

"I got chocolate cake", Charles says as he goes to place it on the kitchen counter.

"My favorite", I reply.

"Cami, can you come here, please."

"Yeah sure."

Charles grabs my hand and whispers, " Did you know kj was going to be here?"

"What, no. I'm just as surprised as you are."

"What do we do now? Should we tell Kj about the wedding?"

"Umm, no I don't think we should", I say with sort of a high tone, then I clear my voice. The guilt is killing me.

"But the rest of the cast is coming, aren't you worried they'll mention anything?"

"I mean yes, but-. I don't know, invite him if that's what you want."

"Okay, let's go talk to him."

"Together?" I ask a bit too fast.

He chuckles, "well, yeah."

"Alright then."

We walk together, Charles has a tight grip on my hand. It's like he's afraid I'll let go.

"Kj there's something we need to tell you", Charles calls.

[Kj's POV]

I turn around to see them holding hands. What did they want to talk about? Did Cami tell him anything? My heart is racing. I don't know what to expect.

I manage to give a fake smile, "Sure, what is it."

"Okay, as you know, Cami and I have been together for a long time now, and well, we're getting married! We want you to be there!" he exclaims.

"What?" I scoff. So apparently she didn't tell him anything at all.

I look her in the eyes, they start to tear up."Congratulations you guys, I'll try my best, but I don't know if I could make it, I'm going to be traveling a lot these couple months, so I might not be there", I lied, still looking into her glossy eyes. Cami obviously doesn't want me to be there. And honestly I won't be able to watch them getting married. I never imagined Cami getting married to someone who's not me.

"Excuse me", Cami says in a brittle voice, and rushes to the bathroom.

Charles looks at me confused. I'm just standing there with my hands in my pockets, hoping he doesn't ask me anything.

Someone knocks on the door, and Cole goes to open it.

"Greetings, my love", Cole jokes and gives Lili a small kiss on her cheek. Madelaine, Travis, Vanessa, and Casey also show up together a few seconds after.

As soon as I hear the bathroom door open, I rush to check on Cami. Charles is too busy chatting with the others on the balcony.

"Hey, you okay?"

"No, Kj, I'm not, obviously", she shakes her head and continues," you don't understand how guilty I feel, and I haven't talked to anyone. I don't think I can."

"I get it, i haven't said anything either", I reply.

"But Kj you're not the one getting married here. It's easier for you."

"Listen, it's just, if you need anyone to talk to, I'm here. And besides, i think it's better that we clear things out."

"I don't know, I feel like you're the last person I should be talking to right now. I'm sorry, but I'm going to look for Charles", she says as she starts walking.

"Yeah, sure", I answer disappointedly, but she has already left.

Was I stupid for telling her we should talk about our kiss? Does she think I'm stupid for doing that? I actually thought I was doing the right thing. I want us to talk about our feelings and thoughts. I mean, I don't expect her to break up with Charles and cancel the wedding, or anything like that, but I can't help but wonder, what if she really still likes me?

"I haven't seen tension between you two like that since you first broke up."

I look up to find Cole leaning on the corridor wall with two drinks in his hands.

"What?" I ask as I'm too deep into my thoughts that I don't pay much attention.

"You and Cami", he laughs, handing me a drink," Care to explain?"

"This is not the right time or place to be talking about it", I say rubbing my eyes.

"Come on, it's just us. Everyone's busy outside, and you look like me when I was in highschool- depressed and confused. Trust me you need to let it all out right now."

I let out a laugh,"is it that bad?" Cole shrugs his shoulders. I take a few moments then start," after finding out about the wedding, I went to go talk to her. Technically, I went to go talk to both her and Charles, but to my luck he wasn't there. We talked, she invited me to the wedding, blah blah, and then here comes the dumb part. I kissed her."

Cole's eyes are now wide open, he tries to say something, but fails.

"So?" I interrupt his state of shock.

"What the hell man?!"

That wasn't Cole. I bite my tongue when I see Charles standing right there with his arms crossed,"Are you being serious?"

My mouth is open, but no words come out. I run my hand through my hair and stare at the ground, waiting for him to beat me up any second now.

"How could you", he raises his voice as he rushes towards me and grabs my shirt, almost ripping it off.

"Whoa whoa whoa, Charles", Cole says as he tries to hold him back.

"I-i can explain. I'm sorry. It was all me. It's my fault". I look behind him to see the whole cast gathered up. Cami has one hand covering her mouth, and the other wiping her tears away.

"Cami, we're leaving", he lets go of my shirt, and hurries out the door.

"Charles", Cami sobs and follows him outside.

I scurry to the guest room, and slam the door. I lift the chair next to my bed, and throw it across the room, making all my hoodies and jackets that were on it fall to the ground and scatter all around.

I then sit on the bed with my head between my palms. I take a few deep breaths, then get up and out of the room to see my friends waiting for me.

"Kj, I'm so sorry. How are you feeling? Better?"Vanessa asks.

"I told them, is that okay-or?"

"It's alright Cole, and yes Vanessa I managed to calm myself down", I laugh.

"Oh kj, this must be so hard for you", Madelaine says as she gives me a hug.

It truly was pretty hard. I hurt the girl I love. How am I going to make it up to her now? I hope Charles doesn't blame her for the kiss, he better not.
