Serayah's POV

"And cut!" "Bravo you two!" "This scene felt so real." Replied Sanaa

I was really in my feelings after shooting this scene. I don't know if I were portraying these emotions as my character Tiana or as myself. What was I even thinking? I was stupid to break things off with Jacob for a guy who can't even be honest with me.

"Babe can we talk please?" Yazz pleaded.

"I have nothing to say to you." I said walking away.

"Please" Yazz said grabbing my arm.

"Don't touch me!" I snapped.

"Look I'm sorry." "I wasn't trying to hurt you, if you just let me explain." Said Yazz.

"Explain what exactly?" "How you're still with your ex?" "Who happens to be the same gf you lied to me about." I snapped again.

"I'm sending her back home." I was hurt, I was jealous of you being with another guy." "I needed a distraction so I made plans with her weeks ago." "I forgot about those plans because her and I haven't been talking." "She texted me last night out the blue and told me she was coming today." "I didn't have the courage to tell her not to come." "So I picked her up at the airport." "She's in my trailer."

"Wait, she's here on set?" I questioned

"Yeah but I'm.."

"Don't bother." I said cutting Yazz off.

"What do I have to do to prove to you that I wanna be with you?" Replied Yazz.

"Um not make plans with your ex." "You knew me seeing you with her would hurt me." "So mission accomplished." I clapped sarcastically.

"I wasn't trying to hurt you." Said Yazz

"I broke up with a great guy for what?" "For this."

"Oh so you rather be with him still?" Yazz snapped. 

"Serayah really."

"Fuck this." Yazz angrily walked away

Yazz POV

I walked back to my trailer. I was pissed. How could she say that? She rather be with him? Well she can be with him. He will never be me period.

"Yazzy" Allonie jumped in my arms.

"What has gotten into you?" I replied.

"I missed you silly." Allonie smiled.

"Listen Lonie, this is really not a good time." "You should go home." I said not wanting to be bothered.

"Either you're having mood swings or this is about that bitch right?" "Unbelievable." Allonie replied shaking her head.

"I said it's not a good time and I'm taking you back to the airport." I snapped.

"Don't bother, I'll call an uber."

"And when that bitch breaks your heart again, Don't call me to pick up the pieces." "I'm done."

Serayah's POV

Although I was sad and angry about the situation I couldn't stop thinking about Yazz. Ugh why must things be so complicated between us? I took out my phone. I scroll thru my contacts. I debated whether I should call Yazz or not. My pride was telling me not too but my stupid heart was screaming call him. I decided to listen to my heart hoping I wouldn't regret it.

I pressed the face time icon.

After 3 rings, he picked up. Why was I nervous?

"Hey" I replied in a low voice not really looking at the  screen.

"Hey." Yazz replied.

"So um.." I replied trailing off. Not really knowing what to say.

"Something you wanna say?" Yazz asked.

"No, you?" I questioned.

"I mean you face timed me." Yazz responded.

"Right, big mistake." "I'll let you go." I replied wanting to end facetime.

"No wait." Said Yazz

"There's a reason you called." Yazz replied.

"And what might that reason be?" I questioned. 

"You wanna be with me too." Said Yazz

"Maybe, maybe not." I said teasingly.

"Girl who is you playing wit?" Yazz sang

"Don't make me laugh." I smiled.

"So?" Yazz questioned.

"Okay fine I do." "But from here on out you have to promise me we will always be honest with each other." I replied.

"Promise." Replied Yazz.

"So where's your little gf?" I asked rolling my eyes.

"Well I happened to be looking right at her." Yazz smiled

I looked around the room.

"You silly." Yazz laughed.

"Just needed the clarification." I smiled

"I love you." Yazz said looking directly at me thru the screen

"I love you too."
