Jussie

Yazz POV

I paced around my house angrily. Really? She's hanging out with him again. I can't believe this. Maybe she never was into me. Maybe all of this was just a mind game. I hate that I even fell for her. I was so deep in thought that I didn't realize my phone was ringing.

"What!" I answered with an attitude not looking at the caller I.D

"Yazz, finally you've answered." My manager Charlie Mack replied.

"Sorry about that man, what's up?" I question.

"It's Jussie, he's been attacked." Replied Charlie.

"What do you mean he's been attacked?" I questioned again.

"Lee called." "He said Jussie told him that he was attacked on his way to Subway by-two men wearing maga hats.

"Are you serious?" I asked in shocked.

"Yeah. Lee FaceTimed him while he's in the hospital." Replied Charlie.

"Did he see the guys?" I asked.

"No he said they were wearing ski-masks. They tied a noose around his neck and poured bleach on him." Charlie continued.

"Is this a joke man cause I don't have time?" I asked slightly annoyed with the thought of Serayah and Jacob still on my mind.

"I wish that it were." Charlie Replied.

"That's really messed up." "Jussie is a great person, he didn't deserve that." I Replied.

"Well I'm still gathering more of the details." Charlie Replied.

"Is he still in the hospital?" I asked.

"No he's been released." Replied Charlie.

"Well I should go check on him, see how he's feeling." I Replied.

I hung up with Charlie, called my driver and headed over to Jussie's place.

10 minutes later I arrived.

Jussie's security guard let me in.

Taraji and Terrence were here.

Everyone acknowledge my presence.

"I just heard what happened." I'm so sorry, how are you feeling now bro?" I asked embracing Jussie.

"Really still in shock." "It all happened so fast." Jussie Replied.

"Well I'm here for you bro." I Replied.

"We all are." Terrence spoke up.

"That's right" Taraji agreed placing a hand on Jussie's shoulder.

"Do you have an ideal who those two guys were?" I asked.

"I couldn't really make out their faces because they were wearing a mask, but the police have been cooperating and working on finding those cowards." Jussie responded.

"No one gets away with attacking my son." Terrance spoke.

"Aww look at Terrance, he's still in character." Taraji joked.

We all laughed.

"But that's right, no one attacks my baby." Taraji Replied.

We all stayed over at Jussie's apartment while Taraji cooked for us.

During dinner my phone kept buzzing.

"Boy what groupies you have calling you?" Taraji joked.

I look down at my phone and notice I had three missed calls from Serayah.

"No groupie, just Serayah." "Ugh what does she want?" I groaned

"She called me earlier, and checked on me." Jussie Replied.

"And why are you over there groaning?" "What is going on with you two?" Jussie asked.

"One minute she's acting like she's feeling me, then the next minute she's with that clown Jacob."

"Jacob Latimore from that show "The Chi?"Taraji questioned.

"Yeah, him." I replied.

"Oooh he's sexy." Replied Taraji.

"But of course he's not as handsome as my Yazzy." Taraji smiled.

"Whatever I'm done with her." I stated.

"Boy calm down." Said Taraji.

"You two are really like your characters." Jussie laughed.

"I say if you really wanna be with her, then go get her son." Terrance chimes in.

"Nah I'm good." "She can stay over there." I Replied.

"Okay stubborn." Replied Taraji.
