You were sleeping peacefully- if you could call it that. The past few weeks, sleep wasn't the easiest for you. You kept having dreams of your life before the Land of Departure, which only left you with more questions than answers. While you were asleep, a person stepped out of the shadows, slowly approaching your bed. They stared at your sleeping figure for a moment, then it happened. You were knocked off your bed by an impact to your side, you let out a screech as you were sent falling to the floor with a loud 'thump'. As you struggled to get up, you were greeted by laughter, one that constantly irritated you- but also made you smile. "...Ventus." You hissed as he tried to control his laughter "You better start running." You seethed summoning your keyblade before you were tackled on to your bed by the blond. "Okay okay!" He laughed "I'm sorry! But I needed to wake you! Look out side!!" He said excitedly as you sighed and shoved him off before trudging to the window. "Woah..." you breathed seeing all the shooting starts "Exactly y/n! Come on!" He grabbed your wrist and dragged you off to the cliffside so you could watch the stars together.

"Y/n?" Ven asked, laying down beside you. "Hm?" You hummed watching the stars. "Does this feel...familiar to you? It feels like it to me." He said sounding almost sad. "Hm...nope! Not at all...why?" He shrugged and silence took over once again. "Y/n?" He asked once again. "Yeah?" "Do you...do you think we'll always be together like this?" The blond asked, not taking his eyes off the sky. "Sure." You nodded "I don't see why not." You both continued to watch the sky, just enjoying your time together "y/n?" Ven was greeted by silence "huh?" He sat up and looked over only to find you asleep. He looked over at your sleeping form, noticing how close your hand was to his. "...." he laid back before grabbing your hand. "And Aqua thinks I sleep too much.." he mumbled smiling to himself before closing his eyes and deciding to sleep, your hand still in his.

Ven opened his eyes to see the night sky. He went to stretch but noticed something was weighing his left hand down. He looked over to see your sleeping form, your hand in his. He tried to ignore the pink slowly over taking his cheeks as he gently let go of your hand before stretching and yawning. He laid back only to see a certain blue haired girl looking down at him. "Woah!" He shot up as she laughed at him. "Gimme a break Aqua!" He huffed as she continued to laugh "Ven, you hopeless sleepy head. You know you should have at least brought a blanket." She scolded softly. "Did I dream that place up?" Ven started "it really felt like I've been there before." He frowned seeming deep in thought. "Except you've always been here with us." She smiled at him ruffling his hair. "That's not true." Your voice groggily said as you sat up and stretched. Aqua gave you a disapproving look. "No, he's always been here with us. All of us." She said a bit more sternly. "No, I'm from somewhere else." You said pulling your knees to your chest. "You are?!" Ven asked surprised "No, she isn't." Aqua said again "But I keep having memories-" you tried to explain before she cut you off "No. you've always had a wild imagination. Stop calling your dreams memories." She scolded trying to keep calm. "I dont believe that." "...Aqua! Do you ever wonder what the stars are?" Ven said trying to change the subject. "Alright. Well, you know, they say that each star is-" "-is a different world." A new voice interrupted "Terra!" You all greeted your friend. "You better not be causing trouble." Terra scolded you, ruffling your h/c hair. "I-I'm not!" You huffed "oh really? Is that why I heard you yelling about your 'memories' again?" You frowned before he shook his head. "Anyways. Hard to believe there are so many worlds out there besides our own. The light is their hearts. And it's shining down on us like a million lanterns." Terra said making you put your hand under your chin in thought. "Hm.." you hummed as Ven spoke up "What? I don't get it." Terra smirked "In other words, they're just like you and y/n, Ven." You huffed trying to understand as Ven got up "and what does THAT mean?" "You'll find out some day, I'm sure." Terra replied, still smirking. "I wanna know now!" Ven whined as you shook your head at the two. "You're too young to know now." "Stop treating me like a kid!" Ven yelled before Aqua interrupted them by laughing. "What are you laughing at?" Terra asked as Aqua composed herself. "Its just, you two would make the weirdest brothers!" She began laughing again. The thought of Ven and Terra being brothers made you all laugh.

"oh yeah!" Aqua stood up from her seated position. The four of you sat down together to watch the sky. "Terra and I have our Mark of Mastery Exam tomorrow." She pulled out four star shaped charms, One orange, green, blue, and the last one purple. "I made us good luck charms." She tossed the orange one to Terra, green to Ven, purple to you, and kept the blue one for herself. "We get one too?" Ven asked excitedly as you held yours to your chest "of course, one for each of us." She smiled as you all stood in a circle and held them out in front of you "Somewhere out there, there's this tree with star-shaped fruit... and the fruit represents an unbreakable connection." She walked away from the circle as she spoke "so long as you and your friends carry good luck charms shaped like it, nothing can ever drive you apart." You smiled as you looked down at the pretty purple charm. "You'll always find your way back to each other.." she said softly as she looked at her charm before turning back to us. "Technically, I think you're supposed to make them with seashells, but I did the best with what I had." You looked up at her, grinning from ear to ear. "Sometimes you are such a girl." Terra teased as he shook his head. "Hey! What do you mean 'sometimes'?" Aqua asked narrowing her eyes. You looked to Ven, who had a sad look on his face. "So.. this isn't a real good luck charm?" He asked and you elbowed his side "Ven!" You hissed before Aqua came over "well...thats yet to be seen. But I did work a little magic on it." "Really?" Ven asked excitedly "what?" Aqua raised her charm in the air "An unbreakable connection." She said smiling contently. "Well," Terra started as he stood up "tomorrow's the exam. Anyone wanna spar?" He asked "no way! You beat me up enough for one day." You said shaking your head. "I can take ya!" Ven said smirking as he summoned his keyblade. After a few minutes of Ven and Terra sparring, Aqua decided to face Ven. She was really great with magic. You watched in awe as she gracefully moved around him. "You know y/n" Terra said putting a hand on your shoulder "You could be like that one day too." He said nodding towards Aqua. "One day, you won't be afraid anymore. You'll be a great keyblade master, I just know it." He said sincerely making you smile. "Hm...yeah! Im sure I'll be a great master some day." You said nodding in agreement. After Aqua and Ven were done, you laid down on the bench looking at your wayfinder, Terra and Aqua began talking and Ven began to watch the sky again. "Hey. We're going to head back." Terra said to you and Ven. "Yeah! Us too. Come on y/n!" Ven said pulling you up from the bench. The four of you began to make your way back to the castle. Little did you know, this was the last night you would all spend beneath the same stars.
