A Reunion

You landed on the ground with a soft thud. You were getting used to traveling in the lanes between, but you still sucked with landing in the new worlds. "Ow...man.." you sighed and looked up slowly to see a spiky blond running in the distance "Ven!!" You smiled and jumped up to run after him

By the time you caught up with him he was following a giant unversed, standing in-front of it was Terra. As you arrived right after Ven, Aqua came running from another direction
"Y/n?!" "Terra!" "Ven?" "Aqua!!" It was a mess of all of you saying each others names before the unversed stomped, almost as if it was unhappy that it was not the center of attention. At once the four of you summoned your keyblades and got ready to fight. Ven went straight for its legs while terra jumped up to its arms "Fire!!" You yelled before you lunged forward, landing a few good hits on its legs before jumping back. "Heal!" You had noticed Terra get hit pretty badly, luckily you were the best healer out of the four of you. The battle didn't take too long with the four of you, and thanks to you no one was injured— at least not for more than seven seconds. Aqua jumped and slashed at you, with you following after. "Ven now!" Terra yelled and the two of them slashed at it, completely destroying it. The four of you ran over to each other "got 'em!" Terra cheered and you grinned and nodded "we make a good team!" Aqua added and Ven agreed "sure do!" He got a strange look on his face "Oh yeah!" He pulled out four tickets "I got you these passes!" He said smiling "He said to bring a friend!" His smile was directed at you before his smile turned in to a pout "And..and to bring two grown ups.." you giggled at his expression before taking one of the passes "Sounds like fun!" You smiled looking at the pass as he gave Terra and Aqua theirs "you mean us?" Her and Terra began to laugh before Aqua's expression turned serious
"Listen to me Ven, we need to get you and Y/n home." She said but Ven shook his head "it's okay Aqua! That guy in the mask wont bad mouth Terra or Y/n again." He said making you touch his shoulder to get his attention "That boy? I saw him not too long ago, when we got separated he took me to—" you were cut off by Terra grabbing one of your shoulder and one of Ven's, turning you two to face him "You saw the boy in the mask?!" He yelled seeming angry almost "uhm.." you mumbled as Ven stuttered out a 'yes' as an answer. "Vanitas.." Terra sighed and shook his head "Ven, Y/n, you let Aqua take you home." "What? Why?" You asked trying to keep your cool while Ven was less calm. "No way! I wanna go with you guys!" He looked between both Aqua and Terra "you can't. We have a dangerous task ahead of us. I don't want you to get hurt." Terra said and Aqua spoke up "And what is this dangerous task, Terra? It doesn't sound like what the master told you to do." "It might be a different route, but I'm fighting the darkness." "I'm not so sure.." she sounded hesitant "I've been to the same worlds as you, and I've seen what you've done. You shouldn't put yourself so close to the darkness." You looked down at your feet. Any momentary happiness of being with your friends and any hope of returning home with them had vanished. "Listen to yourself Aqua." Ven stepped forward "Terra would never—" "you mean you've been spying on me?" Terra asked with a hurt expression on his face "is that what he said to do? The masters orders?" "He was only—" aqua cut herself off "Aqua.." Ven sighed looking down. "I get it." Terra said sadly before starting to walk away "Terra!" Ven called as you ran over and grabbed his arm, only to have him shove you back, making you fall. "Just stay put! I'm on my own now, alright?" He yelled before beginning to walk away again. You could feel the darkness in your heart getting stronger, making you grit your teeth in pain. "Terra please listen!" Aqua called desperately "the master has no reason to distrust you- really! He was just worried!" Terra didn't say anything and just kept walking "you're awful Aqua.." Ven said making you stand up and push him "Don't say that Ven!" You scolded as Aqua spoke up "So now you two know the truth. But the Master loves Terra, and you know that too." You looked down and placed your hand over your heart, trying to relax "Aqua..were you ordered to take us home too?" Ven asked, making her sigh in response. "Aqua..now that you've become a keyblade master, you've let it go to your head. I'm gonna go find Terra." Ven ran off, and neither you or Aqua made a move to stop him. "Do you feel that way too?" Aqua broke the silence between the two of you "No" she looked up surprised "You're just doing what's asked of you." You took out the Disney town pass that Ven had given you "I want to go home." You said sadly "But I can't go home without Ven and Terra." It was silent for a few moments "You said that boy in the mask took you somewhere...where did he take you?" She asked sounding nervous. "Home." You replied bluntly "Im sorry we lied to you." She said sitting down and you joined her "why did you? You knew I was remembering..but you always told me they were just dreams." You replied pulling your knees to your chest "I don't know..the master said to. Maybe it's because he didn't want Ven thinking he was from somewhere else too.." another moment of silence greeted the both of you "My heart is fading." You spoke up, gaining her attention "what?" You explained what happened with Maleficent and what Vanitas had told you. "Your heart won't fade away. There...There has to be a way!" You sighed and looked up to the sky "I can feel it..the darkness. Its cold and heavy..sometimes it hurts..but it doesn't hurt when I think of you, Terra, and Ven." She stood up "You need to go home the master can-" "he can't help me." You stood up "I can't go home without Terra and Ven." You said more firmly and she sighed before standing up with you. "Your heart is made up?" She asked and you nodded "I guess I really can't stop you." At that moment Ven came running back over. "Ven! Did you find him?" She asked and he nodded "yeah but...he's gone." "Right. Then I can't stay here." "Let us go with you!" Ven asked and she shook her head "No Ven. Do as I say and go home." She said and Ven looked hurt "why wont you let us..?" "I don't want to put you in harms way." She placed a hand on his shoulder "you understand?" She sighed and activated her armor before taking off.

You and Ven had made your way around the world you had come to find to be called radiant garden. You settled in a park area. Ven sat against a wall and played with the toy Keyblade that used to belong to Terra, and you sat in front of him. "Ven..." he shook his head and you sighed before standing up. You walked past him but stopped when you felt his hand wrap around your wrist. "Are you leaving me too?" He said asked avoiding eye contact "what? No. Why would I do that?" You asked. He finally looked up "the boy in the mask said you would leave me. He said your hearts full of darkness." You stayed silent and just stared at him blankly "But...how can you be full of darkness when all I see in you is light?" He asked tugging on your wrist so you could sit next to him. "Ven..do you remember when we fought Maleficent?" He nodded "and she threw that ball of darkness at you—" "-and you saved me. Yeah I remember." He said impatiently "when I protected you..I was careless and I didn't protect myself. She hit me with the darkness." You placed your hand over your heart "The boy in the mask said that the darkness is taking over my heart. It's going to swallow all the light." He looked devastated "But I won't leave you. I'll find a way. I promise." You smiled and he smiled back, though his looked more half hearted "Is there a way to save you?" He asked and you bit the inside of your cheek "I don't really know." Throughout your conversation Ven had still been messing with Terra's keyblade toy. It slipped out of his hands and landed in front of a boy with fiery red hair and emerald eyes. "Still playing with toys?" He asked us before he tossed the sword back to Ven and pulled out two frisbee bad looking items with flames on each one "see? Get a load of this!" He smirked and looked to Ven. "Let's fight!" "Why would I do that?" Ven gave the boy a puzzled expresion as his blue haired friend spoke up "Lea, we don't have time for this." The boy spoke rolling his eyes "come on! Unless you're afraid of losing?" The boy Lea taunted Ven making him smile "you're on!" As Ven and Lea began fighting each other you stood next to the blue haired boy. "Your friend is an idiot." You pointed out "Ven is way better at fighting." The blue haired boy turned to you "Isa." He said making you look at him like he was crazy "My name." He said chuckling a bit "oh! Right, I'm Y/n." You smiled and extended your hand. He cracked a smile and shook it. You both turned turned back to Ven and Lea to see Lea on the ground panting. "I'm..w-willing to call it a draw..if you've had enough.." he said with a lazy grin, making Ven chuckle "yeah, sure." Isa began to call Lea a loser and lea groaned, telling Ven he hoped He didn't have friends like Isa. Ven looked at you and you gave him a grin before the redhead turned to you. "Oh! The name's Lea. Got it memorized?" He asked tapping his temple "Sure. And I'm Y/n." The four of you talked for a while before Isa said they had things to do. You and Ven, feeling much better, hit the armor on Your shoulders and took off to the lanes between.
