You groaned and rolled over, only to hit your head on something "Ow! What that-" you opened your eyes to discover you were in a peaceful looking town "what..? VEN!" You stood up but fell back to your knees, getting a head rush "You okay lady?" A little girl with two brown pigtails and emerald green eyes asked and you nodded before giving her a smile "Yes, I'm alright." She smiled and held out her hand "Olette!" You giggled and took her hand "Y/n." You stood up and looked around before getting a throbbing headache "I've...this place.."

"Momma!" You yelled happily as you skipped through the sandlot to show her a pretty rock you had found. You giggling sounded distorted before the image of you and your mother faded to dust

"Erm...Lady?" Olette asked looking at you in concern. You placed a hand over your heart "I...It's okay. Olette, you should go home." You said forcing a smile "Okay! Bye miss!" She said happily before she skipped away "Twilight Town.." you breathed before you went walking around. More memories came back to you, but nothing was very clear...except you knew where your home was.

You got to the front door and took a deep breath "M..Mom?" You whimpered as you knocked on the door. The door swung open, just from the force of your light knocking. It looked like your parents had just gotten up and left. "Hello? Mom! Dad?!" You looked in to the living room. "Hello?.." you called out, your voice weak before you picked up a picture frame. It was so dusty you had to blow the dust off of it. It was a Picture of you, your mother, and your father. You smiled before feeling something wet roll down your cheek. "Huh?" You sighed and wiped away your tears and headed to the stairs "Mom! Dad!" You called out loudly "I...I'm home.." you said softly as you opened a door to a bedroom fit for a 6 year old. Everything was clean— minus a few articles of tiny clothing strewn about the room. You didn't know it your heart was still hurting from what Maleficent did to you, but it felt like it was breaking. You moved on to the next room, their bedroom. You immediately fell to your knees. Everything...was spotless like the whole home was, except it was all covered in a thick layer of dust. You couldn't help it; you began to weep for your parents and the life you left behind. "I'm sorry I forgot you, I'm sorry I didn't write. I'm sorry I didn't come home." You cried for what felt like hours. "You almost done crying." An annoyed voice asked making you look up. "You..." You stood up and wiped your tears. "Vanitas." He stated before kicking off the wall he was leaning on. "I'm sure you're smart enough to realize they're dead." He said carelessly. In milliseconds your keyblade was at his throat "Think of what you're going to say." You hissed and you could tell he was smirking under his mask "You're dying." He said simply "What?" You asked not at all expecting him to say that. "Your heart feels cold and heavy, doesn't it?" He asked and you swallowed hard. It was true. "Maleficent put darkness in your heart. Not just any kind— no, this will swallow your heart. Pretty soon, you wont have a heart any longer." He chuckled at your terrified facial expression. "And why do you think I sent you here? Surely you know sadness and pain make the darkness grow in one's heart." He said placing a hand over his heart. You growled and shoved him away and into the wall "get lost." You huffed angrily before moving to walk away. "You're going to lose everything, right in front of your eyes" he started as a black portal formed behind him "and when it gets to be too much, You'll lose yourself too." He smirked "be wary.." he chuckled quoting the green fairy fauna, from the enchanted dominion. "Hey!!" You yelled out as you stepped forward but he was already gone. "He..he's lying..right?" You mumbled sadly as you felt your eyes water again "No! Come on Y/n! Get it together.." you pulled out your wayfinder and held it against your chest "Please be okay, Ven." You mumbled before putting it back in your pocket and heading outside. You activated the armor on your shoulder and threw your Keyblade into the air, it transforming instantly. You jumped on and headed for the now open portal in the sky, back to the lanes between.
