The moment Mr. Park told him to go after Jimin, he was on his feet. His footsteps resonated throughout the hallways as he ran, turning corners until he was out of the building.

"He couldn't have gotten far," Jungkook kept repeating as he slid inside his car, immediately starting and revving the engine.

"Think, Jungkook," Jungkook groaned, slamming his hands on the steering wheel.

"W-where would he go..where would he-fuck," he kept repeating, frustratedly running his palm across his face without even checking if the robots were red or not as he rode towards the airport.

"Of course he would go there, the idiot... leaving doesn't solve a thing," Jungkook hissed.

Turning the corner sharply, he stopped the car, getting out and breaking into a run.

Jimin appears to be fleeing a lot today, according to Jungkook. But right now he didn't care.

Jimin noticed that people were looking at him funny, but it didn't bother him. It never bothered him. He wasn't about to change himself into the CEO son they wanted. This was his life and he needed to get out... something he should have done a long time ago.

He ran blindly until he got a cab and just went straight to the airport. He needed to get away from all this, away from his father, before he made the biggest mistake of his life. He knew that if he stayed, his father would find a way to persuade him into this marriage.

When he arrived at the airport, he realized that he hadn't even bothered bringing any money for a plane ticket and slumped down into a seat in defeat.

He must have been sitting for a while, because soon he noticed a pair of feet in front of him.

He looked up to find Jungkook staring at him.

"What do you think you are doing here? And if you think, even for a second, that I'm going back without a fight, you're gravely mistaken, Jungkook, you've got another thing coming. " Jimin said, standing up towards Jungkook, despite feeling internally drained, he wanted this over with and to go back the way it was.

And it's most certainly times like this that he cursed his prominent lack of height. How could he be intimidating when he barely made it to Jungkook's chest in height?

Jungkook starred down at Jimin's broken form, seeing right through his soul, the sight immediately warming his icy heart, erasing all thoughts of ever taking him back... In fact, Jimin is what matters most now. His happiness is what matters most.

"No silly... I'm not taking you back. In fact, I'm..." Jungkook said, scratching his head before realizing his behavior was inappropriate and, in mere seconds, Jungkook would be seen turning from a nervous wreck to a confident man. "I'm coming with you." Jungkook firmly said.

Jimin's eyes blew wide like saucers.

"What why? You aren't. I don't want you to come with me. Not after everything. We both know you're my father's pawn..why would you come with me? " Jimin babbled on, feeling just a little bit crazy. The fact that Jungkook continued to just stare at him wasn't helping at all.

"a.. and how will I know you aren't here to spy on me? You know what he wants me to do, right? " Jimin asked, raising a brow at him.

Jungkook sighed and just grabbed Jimin by the hand. They went up to the front desk, and Jungkook quickly bought two tickets to Paris.

"I know exactly what he wants you to do and I can't let you do that " Jungkook sincerely said.

Jimin couldn't believe what was happening, but he wasn't about to say no, and besides, he didn't have jack shit to survive from here on. He didn't think this through, and before he knew it, they had boarded a plane. The rest they could figure out once they got there.

Through the hours of the flight, the exhaustion finally kicked in, and Jimin was out like a light. Jungkook watched him sleep from beside him and got a flight attendant to cover him with a blanket for warmth.

Meanwhile, Jungkook started searching for hotels they could stay in until they figured everything out. Jungkook had been fairly honest by saying he couldn't let Jimin marry Jisoo. But it wasn't for the reasons Jimin thought.

The truth is that Jungkook was in love with him. He's been in love with him since the day he was chosen as Jimin's body guard.

He knew his boss was a ruthless shithead, and he knew he would cut off Jimin's money supply before long. making it harder for Jimin to survive.

' That must be why he was hell-bent on going off to college far away to make a name for himself... he wanted freedom, 'jungkook thought as he stared at Jimin's face in contentment.

"Just when did this get so fucked up?" Jungkook muttered to himself.
