While Jungkook was away, Jimin began cleaning up the hotel room, and when he finished, he took a nice long shower, turning on some music to relax himself as he showered. It had been such a long time since Jungkook left, and it honestly freaked Jimin out a little, and he couldn't stop the urge to panic.

He paced around the room, waiting for Jungkook to arrive.

It must have been an hour by the time Jungkook arrived, and since then, Jimin had gotten more than a little paranoid that something bad had happened.

Which is why he launched himself into Jungkook's surprised arms, hugging him so tightly that there was no space between them.

"uhm...Jimin...?" Jungkook said awkwardly, his arms wrapping loosely around the smaller man.

Jimin unlatched himself from Jungkook, standing flat on his feet and still... his head only met Jungkook's chest. He refused to look up at Jungkook.

So Jungkook placed a finger underneath Jimin's chin, tilting his face up so that Jimin would look at him.

He was shocked to see Jimin's eyes glistering with tears.

"Why are you crying? j- "

"I-I thought that something had happened to you. I was so scared that you wouldn't have come back, Jungkook," Jimin sobbed.

And yeah, he wasn't being his usual self, but this wasn't a very usual situation, and if anything happened to Jungkook, he would be alone. Stuck in a place he barely knew with his father's men hunting him down.

Not to mention the guilt he would feel knowing that Jungkook got hurt because of him.

For lack of anything to say, Jungkook just hugged him close. Jimin's head was right on his heartbeat.

"You hear this? as long as this continues to pulse in my chest. I'll always come back to you, Jimin. " Jungkook whispered quietly. So quietly, he thought that Jimin wouldn't hear.

But Jimin heard it all. He heard his words, his breathing, his heartbeat, so steady and calming. It felt like home.

And Jimin snuggled closer.

They didn't have to talk about how odd this was for now.

When Jimin snuggled closer towards Jungkook, molding himself against Jungkook's front, Jungkook nearly felt like he could combust with happiness.

That was until Jimin's tummy started rumbling. He pulled away, red in the face, looking away in every direction.

"Hey, hey... don't be embarrassed dummy.I'll make you food, something to eat... just sit down okay. " Jungkooksaid, walking towards the kitchen. Jimin's eyes lit up.

"Can you seriously make food? You'd that for me? " He said, following him towards the kitchen and taking a seat at the counter.

Of course, I'm your body guard.... I'm obligated to do these things for you... and self-taught, so bare with me, "he said, pulling out a pan.

Jimin frowned at the mention of obligation, and it got him thinking, had Jungkook even wanted to do any of this in the first place? He knew he was being unfair, but he couldn't help but think that.

"Stop thinking so hard, Jimin," Jungkook said, forcing Jimin into reality, "And I don't mind doing any of this, really... I promise."

Jimin's eyes widened.

"Oh, so he reads minds now," Jimin thought aloud.

"Nope, you're just thinking aloud." Jungkook smirked at him, and Jimin blushed horribly.

'Am I prone to embarrassment? God why?" Jimin thought.

"Red is such a good colour on you, Jimin ssi"

"Oh my god, Jungkook, stop, I swear-" he started. Conflicted. Wanting to slap him.

Why would he even think of slapping Jungkooks' bunny face? Look at him. It's animal cruelty, though he was still glaring at the taller guy.

"And what are you going to do about it?" Jungkook teased, taking a bite of his egg bread.

"Oh, you don't want to know, " Jimin mumbled lowly, shaking his head. His mind was racing towards sinful thoughts faster than he could register.

"Oh, but I do," jungkook urged.

"Oh no, you really don't. Trust me. " Jimin challenged, not really wanting Jungkook to know what he'd do. The teasing would never end, and he just couldn't risk it.

"Oh well, " Jungkook huffed, and Jimin eyed him.

'What's he trying to do?  Jimin thought suspiciously.

"I guess if you're not going to tell me, then I don't think you'd mind if I left you here alone for an hour or two," Jimin almost choked.

"You wouldn't dare," Jimin said, and Jungkook raised his brow.

"But I would," he said confidently, straight-faced, "so tell me," he said seriously.

'Why is he doing this to me'

Jimin looked at jungkook from across the table, fidgeting with his fingers under the table before standing up slowly. Jungkook watched his every move as he leaned over the table. Intrigued

"I'd kiss you," Jimin admitted.

"w-what" Jungkook said incredulously.

"You heard me," Jimin said, placing his hands on the table, finding it really difficult to stare back at Jungkook, but he did, never dropping his gaze.

"You're kidding, right?" Jungkook asked, trying to figure out if Jimin was joking or not.

"No, there I told you, I swear jungkook if you leave me I'll beat you with a pan " Jimin threatened
