Caleb was missing. Eli was anxious, again. Caleb was ridiculously reckless. Today was the day they were meeting with the zombie, Eli was already tense and Caleb wasn't helping. He walked out the back of the cabin, hoping to find his idiotic love. He still had a broken arm, although they told him it wasn't bad, he'd probably get the cast off in 2/3 weeks. Gypsy wasn't keen on the cast, hissing every time she slithered over it.

"Caleb!" He called out, walking by a large tree.

Eli let out a small screech when a head came swinging down, Caleb had his knees hooked around a branch and was hanging upside down in front of Eli. He had a cigarette in his mouth and blew the smoke away from Eli. He smiled sweetly as Eli calmed his rapidly beating heart.

"Sorry Angel, did I scare you?" He asked, copper eyes level to Eli's sweet blue ones.

"What is up with you and trees?" Eli stated exasperated.

Caleb's unruly hair tangled in the wind, Eli sighed and gently ran his fingers through the knots.

"You should brush your hair more, if you insist on keeping it this long."

"It's not that long, plus I don't mind the messy look, it goes with my bad-ass attitude." He winked.

Caleb lowered himself a little more and whispered a sweet "Kiss me," brushing his scarred lips against Eli's lightly.

Eli blushed brightly with a small nod, he tip toed slightly to gently place his lips to Caleb's. It was weird to kiss upside down, but neither minded too much. Eli sighed contently at the tangy taste of cigarettes. He was used to it by now, in fact, he rather liked it. Caleb liked the rush that went to his head as Eli stole his breath away, things were getting a bit heated before Caleb swung back with a hiss. He suddenly dropped the cigarette that had burnt his finger. He brought up his burnt digit, to suck on, to sooth. But, before he could Eli gently guided it to his own mouth. He sucked softly, erasing the burn entirely. Caleb smiled at his sweetness. He swung back upwards, and sat on the branch. He dangled his legs in front of Eli teasingly.

"Come up?" He asked.

"Are you insane?"

"Well, aren't you too?"

Eli let out a small chuckle, he looked at the tree. It looked pretty sturdy, the biggest around for sure. The branch wasn't that high either. His smile dropped, he was slightly mortified that he'd even considered it to begin with. I mean he could hurt himself, after all.

"No, I can't." He stated defiantly.

"Come on, I won't let you fall."

"What about my arm?"

"I'll help you up."

"I don't know, Caleb, what if I slip? What if I... die?"

"Do you trust me?"

"What?"

"Do you trust me?" he repeated.

"Y-yes."

Caleb leaned down, and grabbed Eli under his armpits, he lifted him up with little effort. A small grunt leaving his lips as he placed him on the branch. Eli immediately whimpered and clung to his arm. Eli kept looking at the ground, shaking at the distance between his feet and solid ground. His head was becoming light, and he was surely about to plummet to his death.

"Look up." Caleb stated.

Eli complied hesitantly and gasped at what he saw. The sun was beaming through the leaves, as the branches danced effortlessly in the wind. It was a complete different view when you were in the tree its self, the green was almost blinding as it surrounded them entirely. A squirrel was dancing in the branches at the top of the tree, it's young following.
