-Brayden's POV

"I'll have the Chicken Madeira, and he'll have another iced tea, please."

The waiter nods his head and writes down the order, taking everyone else's as well. The table is filled with an overwhelmingly awkward silence for a while. Then, I hear Ryan say:

"How are we all going to fit in the cab"

"We'll strap you and Graser to the roof, kiddo" Larry says from beside me and I shake my head, laughing.

"Or I could just sit on Brayden's lap and you take the trunk, Miss Lane."

I feel her grip tighten on my hand and look over to see her glaring at Ryan. Dylan's laugh, from across the room, brings her back to reality. She flips her hair and, as if not fazed by Ryan's challenge, she states plainly:

"Deal."

-Larry's POV

The food finally arrives and I can feel my heart do somersaults as the plate is set in front of me. We eat in semi-silence, or as silent as it can get with 20 guy bestfriends who play minecraft for a living. Once everyone is done we ask the waiter for our bill. I snatch it before anyone else can and set my card down on the tab, handing it back to the waiter before any of the guys can object.

I turn around slowly, anticipating the backlash of my actions. I'm met by 20 angrily adorable faces.

"So? Should I go hail a cab?" I say trying to avoid the subject of paying.

"We were all going to split the bill, Lane" Graser says from beside me with a slighly annoyed tone of voice. I smile wide trying not to anger anyone.

"It's fine, you can just pay the cab fee." I reply bluntly as I grab my things and wait for everyone else to do the same. Slowly they all get up and start towards the door. I'm halfway through the restaurant when I feel someone grab my hand. I smile, already knowing who it is. I don't need to check to make sure, I squeeze his hand gently and receive the same back. Smiling, I walk along, swaying our intertwined fingers between our bodies.

Brayden.

We finally succeed in grabbing a cab, Jordan and some of the other guys left in his car and were meeting us at the cube house. I let everyone slip in first before going inside myself. I make sure to hold eye contact with Ryan as I sit on Brayden's lap nonchalantly. He glares back playfully and I blow him a kiss as if to say:

I win.

I wake up on my own the following morning. Had it not been for the sliver of light that passed through the blinds, I would've slept until noon. I slowly make my way to the bathroom, my vision still fuzzy from having just woken up. Today was the cube meetup. So naturally everyone was running around the house, freaking out. Everyone except for me. I wasn't on the Cube SMP, but I was tagging along to support my friends- and because I didn't want to spend all day alone in the house.

I take a quick shower, brush my teeth and straighten my hair. Even though it would likely rain that day.

Curse you Seattle and your mysterious weather patterns.

Once back in my room I slip on a white dress with minecraft apples printed all over it, and slip on my red velvet Dr. Martens. I take one last look in the mirror before slipping out and into the kitchen.

It's pretty much chaos, everyone is simultaneously vlogging and getting ready. Parker has someone else's underwear on over his pants, and I'm at the counter eating bacon.

Life is very good, when all your friends are making fools of themselves.

I'm checking twitter when someone comes up behind me and covers my eyes.

"Guess who?"

"Hmmm? I don't know, maybe Jordan? Oh wait he's not in the Cube house, he's at home. Tybzi?" I answer, barely holding in my laughter. The hands leave my face and snatch my last piece of bacon from my plate. I grown slightly, food was my one true love.

"Your words hurt me, Larry. I thought what we had was special." Brayden says, fake sobbing whilst he wipes his tears with the bacon strip.

"Eww, gross! It's salty enough. Just eat the damn thing." I reply slapping his cheek lightly. He shoves the whole thing in his mouth and kisses my cheek.

As if on queue, Ryan shows up on the other side of the counter.

"Hey, can I get one too, Brayden. Sharing is caring right?"

"Sure, dude. Just come over here. We'll spread the love."

Ryan's face turns into one of confusion. He probably didn't anticipate that Brayden would actually agree to it.

"Hey, is that the cab I hear? We should probably get going. Don't wanna be late for the meetup, right?" He says, rubbing the back of his head with the palm of his hand.

"Yeah, that's why we should get going" I reply, chuckling lightly at Ryan's stupidity in that moment.

This oughta be fun, right?

Hey hey hey,

Did somebody say update? I guess this is a pretty decent length chapter. I'm really proud of it, but feedback is always appreciated. We're almost to  300 reads! Thanks to everyone who has read and voted. I'll try to update sometime later next week. I'm still kind of stumped on school so no promises.

As always thanks,
