You Got Me Smiling In My Sleep..

Nick POV.

I woke up with the blinding lights of the sun shining on my face. It was warm but at the same time a little uncomfortable. I turned around with my back to the window and opened my eyes lightly.. Sitting up, I rubbed my eyeballs yawning and then checked the time

I heard a small giggle so I looked at Demi who looked like she was sleeping

I leaned against her ear and whispered "Wake up mommy"

She didn't moved but I felt her suck in her breath. Leaning back to see her face, I smiled and said - I love you!

She opened her eyes and smiled back cutely looking like a little girl - I love you too daddy

I chuckled and she stood up on her elbows - Parents at 23 heh? Are you nervous?

- Super! - I answered pulling my lips inside my mouth - You're not?

She shrugged - If I'm with you, I'm perfectly safe so.. I'm nervous but not afraid

I smiled and kissed her head while getting up - I hope I make you safe forever.

She smiled and sat up walking to the mirror. I started putting on jeans. I saw her worried face when she started playing with her tummy. She probably saw me through the mirror because minutes later, she turned around sighing

- I'm okay! Don't worry! I'm just scared of losing this baby too..

I nodded and she looked down. I can't even imagine what would happen if she loses a baby again.. the last time was so painful!

- It's going to be alright - I finally said making her snap out of her own thoughts

We got dressed and had breakfast together. After it, we started looking for bigger houses.

- How many rooms should it have? - I asked her

- How many kids do you want? - she giggled back

- Ughh deep question Mrs. Devonne.. We actually never talked about it!

- Yeah well.. How many kids do you want?

I looked up at her a rubbed her tight - I don't know.. but I guess I want at least 2..

She smirked - I was thinking 3 so, you escaped alive

I laughed and she kissed my cheek - We don't even know who's this little guy

- What are you expecting to have a girl or a boy?

She smiled - I really don't care. I just want him, or her, in my arms like.. out of me - she laughed - but I think I would like a boy.. he could have your curls.. your eyes..

I smiled now blushing - Well if it has your smile, I'm a happy man

She smiled - Exactly that smile right there

I leaned and kissed her softly while we got back to see houses

After long but fun hours, we found a great house in Texas. It wasn't too big but not too small. It had 5 bedrooms, a big living room connected to a kitchen, another big room and 3 bathrooms. It needed some help like fixing gaps on the walls and new floors but Demi and I thought we could do it together.

It also had a big 2 car garage and a basement. Behind the house, there was a big field where Demi thought in put a small park for kids and a pool.

I called the seller and we booked a day to visit the house.

- August 15th? Great! - I answered smiling at Demi - Ok will go.. thank you! Have a good day..

She smiled picking up my jacket - At what time?

- In the afternoon close to 2 p.m. - I answered while she helped me put the jacket on

- Perfect!

We walked down the building and went to the entrance where Max was waiting for us. He drove us to Ellen and then stayed there

The show started and me and Demi watched it backstage. I was nervous.. nervous that people would not approve..

- Please welcome, Nick Jonas & Demi Lovato!

Demi walked in front of me waving at the crowd. We sat in the long couch next to Ellen after greeting her and everyone stopped

- So guys.. How's been life?

- It's been great.. He's amazing - Demi answered and I smiled

- Are you working on a project right now?

- Huh yes.. we finished our album and it's amazing. It's coming out in September 11th

The crowd cheered - Great! I'm a big fan of you too.. I saw you grow up! I'm actually excited - Ellen commented

- Thank you!! - Demi giggled

The crowd cheered and Ellen picked up some cards - So.. rumor has it that.. you guys are engaged.. true or false Demi?

She laughed - Huh.. true - she smiled at me and everyone went crazy

- The question is.. why Nick?

Everyone laughed including myself and Demi

- Well.. We've had our fights and our good moments and I thought it was time to take the next step..

Everyone gave us a "awe" and I smiled - Still have the same effect! Everything you say, they go like "Aaaww" - Ellen joked

- Yeah.. and don't forget the "Laugh!!" one

Demi laughed with Ellen and the others started laughing too

- These are great news guys.. I'm excited for you guys!

- Yeah well.. we also want to announce something else.. - Demi started

Ellen smiled and she continued - I'm pregnant..

Everyone started screaming and I felt my head almost explode.. Ellen was saying "No way!" over and over again and Demi was lacing our fingers together. I felt that she was nervous

- Congratulations!! - she said over the screaming audience

We mouthed "thank you" and then talked more about how it all happened

After the interview, we went to my parents house and hanged in there. My mom and Demi were cooking in the kitchen since Danielle and Kevin were coming too. I stayed with Frankie playing games with him. He was so big now!

We had a great night and then went home. I couldn't wait until this baby comes..
