"NO! Get away from me" I cry backing into a wall, "Don't touch me! Get away!"
The man in the black suit towers over me "Oh darling, I don't want to hurt you." He starts with alcohol lingering on his breath, "If you just follow my orders this will make things so much easier for the both of us."
I look around for any sign of Agar, "I-I don't want to, get away. I don't have to listen to you." I attempt to say confidently.
"I'll give you one last chance to do as I say darling." He says smoothly.
I just shake my head rapidly and cry out for help shrinking down so my legs are pulled up against my chest. This is not happening, this is not happening. The one thing I've never wanted to happen is not happening.
The man decides he's had enough and grabs me by the hair yanking me to my feet, then whispers in my ear, "I guess we'll have to do things my way."
~~~~~~~~~~~~
I wake up to a tear stained face and my brothers arms and legs wrapped around me, holding me in place as if I would run off. He looks down at me with a worried expression "Do you want to talk about it, or would you like me to make you some of mom's tea?" he questions as if he already knew the answer.
Mom's tea has always calmed me down. No matter what has happened I can always count on mom's tea to fix it.
I wipe my face with my palms, "You know that second one sounds more appealing." With that he gets up then pats his back bending his knees offering me a piggy back ride downstairs. In witch I happily oblige standing up on the one bed we own, lazily slinging my arms around him, nuzzling my head into his neck while wrapping my legs around him.
"Ready?"
Without waiting for me to answer he takes off. Dashing out of the room, down the stairs, running around the living room couch 3 times, and into the kitchen setting me down on the kitchen counter.
We're both in a giggling fit by this. These are the time's I will remember when I'm old, Agar and I laughing, having fun, waking up to a great big brother who loves me and protects me. Not the sad ones which consist of loneliness and emptiness.
"You do realize I'm 16, not 5 right." I'm still laughing
"Yes, but you're still my baby sister" he explains "Stop growing up, it's a trap. Take it from the old fart himself." He then turns around and starts on the tea.
"Old fart?" I raise me eye brow, "I'm only 5 years younger then you Mr. Old Fart."
"And 5 years is half of 10 which is a?" He looks at me expecting me to finish the answer for him.
"It's way to early for my brain to work Agar." I state flatly
He cocks a brow stirring the sugar in my tea "Late, you mean late. It's nearly 3 a.m."
I grin "No I meant early. It's 3 in the morning, a.m. means morning doesn't it?"
"Oh shut your mouth." he jokes handing me my tea "Well, since I know you won't tell me about the damn dream till later, we could go get some early hunting in. We need some fresh deer meat."
Just the mention of hunting sparks my interest immediately, "Yes! You gather the stuff and I'll finish my tea then get dressed in proper hunting gear!"
"Why get changed?" He grins, "You'll blend right in with the animals looking like that. They won't even see you coming."
I scowl, sip my tea, then grin back "Why get the stuff around when you could just go outside and lift your arms. They'd surly all die on the spot."
He grabs at his heart pretending my comeback hurt him.
I laugh again finishing my tea putting the mug in the sink. "Common now you're wasting time!" I exclaim.
