Ice age

Ice Age rewritten Part 8

Ellie, Brooke and Shira walked through the icy cave looking at their surroundings.

"Come on guys, stick together. It's easy to get lost in here." Shira said to the other two.

Brooke looked around the cave ignoring what was in front of her. She hit her face on two sharp shards of broken ice sticking out in front of her causing her to get knocked out as the world around her went in and out of focus. Soon enough she came too but her tongue had stuck to the ice on the ground. She manneged to prise her tongue from the ice but had missed the other two whilst all this went on who had gone down one of two passages in the cave.

"Uh, guys." She said with her tongue still hanging out of her mouth.

Brooke headed down the other passage thinking the others had also chosen this way. She looked around her surroundings with concern and soon came across a huge sheet of crystal clear ice and as she looked at it a frozen, beastly looking sea creature with rows of blade like sharp teeth with huge eyes stared back at her making Brooke scream.

"A Fish." She laughed nervously taping the ice with her paw and quickly running by.

Turning around another huge sheet of crystal clear ice came into Brooke's view and frozen within it was a Dinosaur causing Brooke to scream even more then she did at the fish. Shaking in fear she carried on forward.

In a finale sheet of ice Brooke looked at a range of weird looking creatures depicting the evolution of the Sloth. Brooke looked at all the creatures and stood at the end of the line revealing the current evolution of the Sloth. 

Not thinking much of it she carried on walking forward eventually meeting Ellie and Shira the end of the two passages and ran to keep up with them both.

Carrying on forward Brooke stopped at another huge sheet of ice and within it, frozen was a huge UFO, quickly Brooke ran to the other two.

The baby waved at Brooke alerting Ellie of her return.

"Will you keep up please? Hard enough to keep track of one baby." Ellie said to Brooke

As Ellie walked a large ice slide just tall enough to knock the baby of off Ellie's head knocked it off sending him sliding down it and past the three mammals. As he got to the end of the slide he dropped down and just before he hit the ice slide below he waved at the three mammals and laughed as he fell.

"Ahhhh!" the three mammals said together as they ran to try and catch him.

The baby slid down the spiralling Ice slide enjoying the ride. Ellie, Brooke and Shira jumped on the ice slide and went sliding after him screaming as they slid all the while. The three mammals slid into separate parts of the ice slide which ended sending them all flying through the air in different directions to one another.

Brooke went down the same one as the baby and flew through the air with her paws out trying to catch him. The other two joined  Brooke all trying to catch the baby in midair.

The three mammals fell through three holes in the ice matching their sizes perfectly. The baby continued to laugh as he slid and Brooke was sliding down the same part as the baby using her paws to propel herself faster to grab him also enjoying the ride herself. Brooke was able to reach the baby and caught him.

"I gotcha!" Brooke said joyfully as she held the infant above her head to keep him from falling back down however, a hole in the ice came into Brooke's sight just big enough to fit one animal through and Brooke fell into it causing the baby to fall back onto the ice slide again.

Brooke was thrown through the air again and slid upside down and falling onto Ellie's back who was sliding below her.

Shira also slid back used all her claws to try and stop herself she also fell down towards Ellie and landed on her back with her claws out causing Ellie to cry out in pain. The three continued to slide and Brooke caught sight of a piece of ice in front of them. Grabbing Ellie's flailing trunk Brooke shouted into it.
