I woke up the next morning pulling out a few pieces of clothes and held them up against myself, looking into the mirror to see which would look more professional.

"Oh and make sure you ask questions. Don't ask anything too obvious, make it imaginative."

I nodded listening to Cecilia, a friend from school, as I rolled off a number of do's and dont's about interviews. "Got it."

"So what does Bunny think of all this?"

Like hell I was going to tell her that I was going to a interview for an internship where I'll have to moved if I get accepted. Key word, If. Bunny and I are still trying to get things back on track. It wasn't a good time...at least not now.

I was glad Gabe talked her into going to the market with him, making it easier on me to prepare myself.

"I haven't told her. It's no use in getting her involved when there's a chance I might not even get the job."

I felt her disapproving stare but I knew what I was doing...I think.

"Get dressed. We're leaving in ten."

I walked into the bathroom and quickly got dressed into my casual white colored, long sleeve blouse and a pair of grey tie-waist belted trousers and heels. I pulled my hair into a sleek back bun after doing my makeup. I grab my phone and my grey purse before marching downstairs to meet Cecilia.

She gradually looks me over as I stepped into her vision. "Perfect,"she smiles whilst dragging me out the front door. We left the house in a hurry.

Arriving at the small double story building, Cecilia parks the car. "Remember, don't be nervous and smile. You'll do fine, good luck." I gave her a weary smile as I slid out the door to face the building.

I took a deep breath before entering. Inside the building is bright and luxurious, the walls were painted white aligned with colorful paintings, posters, and photos. I immediately liked the atmosphere, getting the inspiring yet creative vibe flowing through my veins.

I was guided up a flight of stairs to an office whose walls were replaced by glass. Walking inside I was greeted by the man who's interviewing me. Bernard Brentwood, a young man of thirty-four or thirty-five, with brown hair, full reddish beard, dark blue eyes, and robust frame.

"Hi you must be Kathleen May,"he stands—extending out a hand which I gladly shook. "I'm Bernard, rightful owner of Captured Moments. You're here for the position in California?"

"That's correct," I smiled as he offered me a seat. "Thanks so much for meeting with me."

"I'm glad you took interest in my company. I examined the photos you emailed, they're incredible." He smiles placing the images down on his desk so we could both get a glimpse of my work.

I used to never look at my best photographs, always afraid that they would become worn, sun bleached or damaged. Staring into the six images made me realize their beauty. The girl in the photos enchanting looks.

"Your work clearly sets you aside from the crowd but I want to hear it from you,"he says with laced fingers, leaning forward against his desk. "Why should I hire you?"

Not thinking the question over, I let my answer slip out without realizing what I was saying before it was said.

"You don't make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved... The pictures are there, and you just have to take them. When people look at my pictures I want to leave something to the imagination."
