Anthony's POV

I woke up to the sound of Jen's annoying voice calling my name. "Tony, tony!" She called out as she knocked on my bedroom door. I look at the time and it was 6:50am. It's way too early to be woken up by Jen's annoying nature. "Anthony William Mason, open this door right now!" She shouted now. Now she was using my full name with my middle name. I grunted irritatedly as I stood up and unlocked the door. "Finally! We're leaving at 8. I'd like to choose your outfit," she said as she walked past me to the suitcase lying on the floor. I yawned and stretched my long body. "Must we really go through this again!?" I asked, my voice laced with irritation. "Yes, now stop mopping and go fix your gorgeous face," she snickered. I rolled my eyes at her insanity and went into the bathroom.

I peed, then brushed my teeth and washed my face. I had barely slept. The only time sleep came was around 4 in the morning. I had some purple rings under my eyes due to the general lack of sleep. I got out and found Jennifer staring at the hole in the wall. "And this?" Jen asked. She turned around and faced me. Her face looked beyond worried. "I thought you stopped busting walls, but I guess you were just lying to me," she said as she looked away. She was highly disappointed in me and I knew she felt betrayed. "Listen Jen -" but she cut me out. "No Anthony, I won't listen to another lie," she said as she sniffed. She was crying now. That's why she turned away, she didn't want me to see her tears. "I lied because I saw how much it made you worry and it was straining your relationship with Danny because you were always concerned about my wellbeing. I didn't want to cause another break up. It's also the reason why I've been wearing gloves, not because I'm cold. I'm sorry I lied but I could not see any other way to approach this matter," I told her, apologized to her for being such a poor friend. She turned and looked at me while she wiped her tears away.

"Tony, I think you're suffering from something more than just post trauma. You're ill Tony, you need serious help, ASAP! And I know you haven't been to therapy for the last few months. Danny rattled your ass," she said as she walked up to me. I sighed, damn Danny! I hugged her as her tiny arms held my waist firmly. "I'm fine Jen. Please believe that," I told her, but I barely sounded persuasive. "Yeah, I'm supposed to believe that when you sound like you're not convinced by your own words," she asked as she rose her eyebrow. "I should change into my clothing," I told her. She nodded and untangled herself from me. She looked at the hole again and exited. I huffed in tiredness. My body was slightly aching, I was just drained and it was still morning. I put on the clothes Jen picked out for me. A pair of black wash jeans and a light blue long sleeved shirt with a grey coat. I wore my black sneakers and took all my belongings, including my phone and luggage, out to the living room. Danny was currently eating some breakfast he ordered. I sat down next to him and gave him a faint smile. He had ordered some breakfast for me too.

"Thanks," I told him as I dug into my meal. He just nodded at me. Danny is never quiet, he's pissed off. Because of me. "I'm sorry," I apologized sullenly. "You should've thought about that when you decided to lie to us," he sneered. Oh he is damn angry. "I had no other choice!" I whisper shouted, in a desperate tone. "You've always got a choice, you just picked the wrong one," he said with clenched teeth as he stood up and took his suitcase. "You'll find me downstairs," he announced as he abruptly left the hotel room. Another person angry at me, great. But I couldn't feel sadness or pain from it because I was numb again. I just felt as monotone as my voice. I sighed heavily and finished my breakfast. I got out the hotel room by 07:45am and found Jen, Danny and Liv downstairs by the lobby, drinking - what I presume is - coffee. I thought about turning around but they already heard me so it was too late. I sat down next to Liv, opposite Jen and Danny. "Morning Liv," I greeted her in a dead tone. Olivia's eyes were fixed on my right hand. That's when I noticed she was looking at my bruises. "I see you're back at it," she said in a judgemental tone. "Where's dad?" I asked as I ignored Olivia's comment. "He'll be down in a few minutes," Jen said in a cold, clipped tone.
