When Ellie was 5 months along Bucky was in the doctor's office with her and he was really nervous about what the genders was. The doctor came in and said "Okay guys let's see what we have going on shall we."
She started up the ultrasound and she said "Okay.. Twin A is a girl.. and Twin B is a boy."
"Did you just say a boy." Bucky said
"I did Pvt 2nd Class Barnes." the doctor said
"Oh my god..oh thank god." Bucky said
Ellie wiped tears and said "Finally."
After the appointment was over they met their family at the main office as that is where their moms said that they were with the girls. They walked in and James said "So.."
Ben said "Yeah what's the genders."
"Um wait till we finish okay cause I almost walked out." Bucky said
"Okay.." Winnie said
"Twin A is a girl Twin B..is a boy." Ellie said
Their mouths dropped open and Winnie said "A boy.. you are finally getting your boy."
"Yes we are." Bucky said as he put his hands on her stomach.
"Ashton Jane and Alexander James" Ellie said
"Oh I love those names." Miranda said
"She wanted them to have matching initials." Bucky said
Four months later on the Friday before Mother's day the doctor performed a c section to have the twins. They were born at 945 and 948 in the morning they both had dark hair and blue eyes. She was feeding Alexander and she said "You are a miracle little guy."
Bucky was holding Ashton as he laid beside Ellie. He looked over at her and he said "Baby I love you."
"I love you too. Now we take a break give my uterus a break." she said
"Okay.." he said
"January February and May." he said
"Don't forget our birthdays March and April." Ellie said
She fed both kids then changed them into outfits to take pictures and for the family came in.

Their families came in and loved on them took pictures. When the twins were three months old Bucky was told about his first deployment. He came home from the meeting and he said "Baby I have to talk to you."
"Okay." she said as she had Olivia napping on the couch and the twins sleeping in their swings. Frankie was at preschool she was folding clothes in the kitchen. He came over and put his arms around her waist "I love you gorgeous."
"I love you too. What's wrong?' she said
"I'm being deployed baby in two weeks." he said
She dropped the towel that was in her hand and she said "What?'
"Baby breathe." he said
"I.. oh god " she said
"Ellie baby calm down it's okay relax." he said
She started to cry and he said "Baby please don't cry.." as he hugged her after she turned around.
"I don't want to do this James..I was so scared growing up when it was my dad I had nightmares for the whole time he was gone." she said
"Baby look at me baby hey I know what I'm doing." he said
"It doesn't matter you could get hurt or die Bucky." she said as she walked away from him.
She went into their bedroom and he looked into the living room to see his 3 youngest kids sleeping and saw the time on the stove. "I guess I'm going to pick up Frankie" he whispered
He grabbed his keys and went to the preschool. He picked up Frankie who talked the whole way home about her day at school. They got inside and the 3 younger ones were still sleeping. He finished the load of laundry that Ellie had been folding. He went to put the laundry in their room and he heard her crying.
He said "Frankie come get daddy is the babies wake up."
He opened the door and shut it. He sat beside her and said "Baby what's wrong."
"I just keep hoping that they will let you go and we can move somewhere that isn't a base. I had a plan then I met you and fell in love with you. I hate this life Bucky I hated being moved around I never had any friends till I moved here. I had hoped that your dad would let you be discharged after boot camp cause you had shown that you have matured and grown since everything but it doesn't seem that way you are already two years in." she said
He looked down and said "baby I know how much this life sucks I do I hated it growing up. But baby look at me..we have four kids we would need jobs to support them while we go to college now it would be different if you weren't such a fertile myrtle and we just had Olivia and Frankie but we have Ashton and Alex baby too."
"I love you James I do but this is hard for me." she said
"I know it is baby.. but you are going to have both my parents and your parents here and I'll skype you every day that I can but I need you baby I need you by my side." he said
"Okay.." she said as she looked down.
"You can do this baby I know you can. We can do this together you and me baby." he said
"Yeah.." she said
"Daddy..Olivia is awake and so is Alex. Ashton is still sleeping." Frankie said through the door.
He got up and went out to the living room and started to change diapers and make bottles. Bucky realized what he was doing then looked down as started come into his head that they had a system and that system was about to be broken. It worked for them cause he hadn't been shipped out. And that was they each had their own days where one did the house work while the other took care of the kids. And who ever was doing the housework picked up Frankie from school.
