Lances POV:

'A man with white hair had been examining him for the last hour, poking and prodding at him. "Subject 02, seems to be responding well to the daemon blood" The man said taking notes and sticking even more needles into him. Every inch of his body burned as if a thousand hot pokers were shoved in every nerve in his body tearing away his mind. Lance screamed and screamed until he couldn't scream anymore-'

Lance jolted up in bed panting, 'Oh gods not that again' Lance had been plagued every night since he escaped with the vision of the white haired man and his pain. He pressed the palms of his hands to his eyes and drew in a deep breath 'You're not there anymore, you're here and you're safe. You killed him. He can't hurt you anymore'
Lance giggled 'Maybe Keith was right about me not understanding and him being insane. maybe I should just kill Keith-'
"Shut up shut up shut up, you can't kill Keith" He said biting his tongue till blood dripped down his chin, the pain grounding him. Lance got up and moved slowly like a ghost to the bathroom. The dark circles under his eyes couldn't really be seen against his dark skin, but that wasn't the worrying thing. His golden ringed eyes had always distinguished him as a hybrid but as if someone had put paint in a bucket of water, a black circle had enveloped the gold. These tricoloured eyes weren't the ones of a hybrid but something far far worse. A daemon hybrid. They'd all died out, a long time ago but that lab were they'd kept him had been experimenting with putting demon blood in hybrids. They weren't compatible and died terrible deaths. Lance was the only survivor. He didn't understand what it meant at the time to have your own DNA twisted until you were something unrecognizable.  Lance stared at this new person in the mirror, hoping he'd never be as cruel as a....as a daemon. Lance spat into the sink. His body didn't feel his own anymore. He felt foreign in his own skin
