The lady opened her eyes and met a pair of clear peach blossom eyes with deep black irises. She blinked slowly staring without any intent at the other person.
"You died,"- The other person said. The lady didn't say anything and continued to stare. The other person furrowed his brows before changing his appearance into a small cute boy in silver white robe. His short blonde hair looks neat and his eyes brimming with pure and silly expression.
"...."- Still she didn't said anything. The other person didn't give up and did every annoying thing any normal beings would find annoying.
He tried to pull her long hair, her head only tilted but she didn't speak.
He tried wrinkling her white dress, nothing.
Pinching, Nothing!
Pulling her lips up, Nothing!
Doing this and that, Still, NOTHING!
He plopped on the ground bored out of his mind and turn to stare at the lady in front of him.
"I thought from your life just now, you're seeking what is life after death and who is "God"? Now why are you silent and not eager to learn the secrets?"- He asked and played with her long hair.
"Life after Death... In the end, It IS the end, Why is there a need to know or learn of it?"- She asked in a monotonous tone and look down to stare at the other person whose braiding her hair.
"You're not that bad"- the other person said and continued to braid her hair. The other person was very idle and didn't do anything beside braiding her hair into different styles.
The lady wasn't impatient and let him do as he please. Life after death isn't so bad, but she thought that aside from reading nothing and sitting, Death will bore you to another level.
Why are humans very active and always inventing things that could make their lives easier? The answer is very simple; Their not satisfied
The lady didn't show any expression, didn't talk, didn't look interested and was obediently lending her lap to the other person as he played with her hair. The stark contrast of her raven hair and the white space made her hair more lovable and pleasant to the eyes.
In this white space, both didn't feel hunger, thirst, or ailments.
They didn't know how much time or how many days did they spend in this space but they didn't voice out any complainants.
Time drags on and on, for the first time when the lady arrive at the space did she show one emotion- BOREDOM.
The other person stared at her in disbelief before exclaiming his feelings.
"After so long, the only expression is this?! Boredom?! Your eyes are just half-lidded! you're not even talking or anything! Why are you not normal?"- He complained and undid the braid of her hair.
"Because I am bored. I didn't know that being dead and enclosed in the white space for the second time will give me this feeling."- She said honestly and look at him play with her hair again.
"Aside from talking about that stupid book, That is actually the first sentence that I heard from you."- He said with an amused look on his face. She didn't refute and just stared at him.
After another long time of dead silence, the other person couldn't help but ask her a question.
"Do you even care about your reincarnation?"- He asked her with a curious and helpless look in his face.
