The Legend of the Unneeded Hero

Chapter 1: the Story Begins

In a small town in the wild west there lived a boy, this boy was going to become one of the most well known heros of all time, but nobody knew it at the time. This boy was just a simple farm kid that was raised in a good foster home, this was odd for the times but he didn't think much of it. His name was named Needless for the fact that he never got sick, but also completed his work so fast it was needless to give him any. He was said to be a superhuman worker able to preform unimaginable feats.

Our great hero's adventure begins on his birthday, he was turning the legal age to go to the bar and have a drink, this ment he was also on his own in life from now on, his foster parents gave him some money as a present to go and get a drink and a start in his life, and said their goodbyes. Unknown to our Needless at the time, the man who was going to spark the adventure that would make him legendary and go down in history as the hero that was not needed was going to that same bar at that same time. This man was known by many names, some called him a crook, others called him a lover, most knew him as the Ghost Bunny that kills anything he sees as evil or an enemy. This mans name was actually Rosy, and he rode into town on his horse looking like he always did, with the badge of a ghost put where most sheriffs put there badge, and a ten gallon hat that had bunny ears on it. this was how he acquired the name of Ghost Bunny, it was rumored that he had the power to use songs and lyrics to defeat his enemies without even needing to lift his gun.

Rosy stopped by the local bar and tied his horse up outside before going in for a drink. when he entered the whole bar went eerily quite, everyone was aware of his presence. Rosy calmly walked through the bar, blowing kisses and winking at all the girls making them faint. He sat down on a bar stool and ordered a beer, just then a kid that looked to be just old enough to be drinking sat down next to him and ordered a whiskey. Rosy didn't know this at the time, but that kid was Needless, the legendary hero that was not needed, and he was going to be the kids mentor. 

Rosy kept looking forward, then said "hey kid is this your first time drinking?" Chris responded with a cheery and welcoming "yes, but I figured go big or go home." Rosy looked at Needless in disbelieve, "kid, if you want to pass out I can just punch you in the face, at least that way you won't have a nasty hangover." Rosy slowly sipped his beer, waiting for Needless's response, "that's quite alright sir I think I'll be fine though." Just then a bottle of whiskey was put in front of Needless, he chugged it all in one gulp and almost fell over. "See what did I tell ya kid," Rosy said with a smirk, "well at least you're not on the floor unconscious because I don't think anyone here would have helped get you back home."

Needless chuckled a little and then asked this mans name as he was unaware of the rumors and stories that surrounded this mysterious man that showed up in his town. Rosy finished his beer and told Needless that his name wasn't needed at that time or any time as that was probably the only time their paths where to cross, he then left. Needless could tell that there was something about this man, so he asked the bartender, who told him marvelous stories about the mysterious man and the feats he had done. "It almost sounds like he's invincible," the bartender finished then went back to his work. Needless stared at the door for a minute, then left. He was untying his horse as he was asking people on the street where the man he had just met went, and when somebody pointed him to the East, he know that's where he was headed. He got onto his horse, put a hat on, and rode as fast as possible into the unknown abyss of desert, the first time he was ever going to leave that town.
