Chapter 5:The Relationship

Needless woke up to Rosy poking him in the face with a stick he had broke of one of the nearby trees on the abandoned farm, "come on we gotta move its sun up already," Rosy said sleepily as he went to wake the other two. Needless got up and said, "I'll get the other two, you go get us some breakfast, we can leave after we eat," he then walked out of the room and went to were the girls where fast asleep peacefully in their sleeping bags. Needless walked in and slowly put his hands to his mouth, then yelled "IT'S TIME FOR BREAKFAST," he heard Rosy drop the pan in the other room from being startled due to the sudden loud noise. Quinn groaned and sat up slowly, rubbing her eyes as she grabbed the hat Prismia had made for her and gently put it on. Oreo went about unzipping her sleeping bag enough to get a leg free but keep her face hidden, before kicking Needless in the shin and yelling, "DON'T EVER SCARE ME LIKE THAT AGAIN YOU SON OF A GUN," she stuck an arm out and grabbed her cloak and brought it into the sleeping bag before emerging with it on. "Hey Rosy was gonna poke y'all with a stick so at least that didn't happen," Needless said as he made sure his shin was still in one piece from the kick. "Y-yeah well just don't scare me like that again," Oreo said as she nervously looked away from Needless and ran to the other room. "Why'd she look away, her face is covered," Needless said well looking over to Quinn. "She has her reasons Needless, just try not to worry bout it right now," Quinn said as she walked out of the room to go eat breakfast.

After breakfast, all four of the team packed up and started on their way again. Needless then spoke "so for a team name I was thinking-" Rosy cut him off with a solid "NO, we are known as the unnamed team, let's keep it that way." they stopped after a while of riding and let their horses rest in the shade of a nearby rock formation, well they waited Oreo walked over to Needless and said nervously, "I-I need to talk to you." "Ok," Needless said, "lets talk then." Oreo looked over at Quinn and Rosy sitting in the shade making sure the horses had water and were getting rest, then looked back to Needless, "no I need to talk to you in private," she said nervously. Needless looked at her and said, "alright, we can go round to the other side of the rock formation," he took Oreo by the hand and led her to the other side of the rock formation where he leaned on the edge and waited for her to speak. "Well I-I was just thinkin and stuff, and you're really great and everythin and well I-" Oreo tried to spit out words but kept stammering. "Ok just slow down and take your time Oreo," Needless said calmly attempting to help her say whatever she was going to say. Oreo took a deep breath and said quickly, "I like you Needless," as she put the hood of her cloak down and hugged Needless tightly. "I-" Needless stood there, completely confused on what to do or say, as admittedly he had started to have feelings for Oreo too. He put his arms around her and they stood there hugging each other for a little before Oreo spoke, "you see me now with my hood off, and I hope this doesn't change how you think of me, even though I know I'm ugly." Needless hugged Oreo slightly tighter and said, "no, you're not ugly at all, you're beautiful, both inside and out," Oreo slightly blushed as she pushed her face further into Needless's chest. Just then Quinn and Rosy came around the corner on their horses, guiding the other two with their free hands, stopping next to the two hugging, "WE HAVE TO MOVE NOW," Rosy said as he handed them their reigns and several masked bandits, about 40, came around the corner with guns drawn at full speed heading straight for our four heroes. Needless and Oreo jumped on their horses and all four raced off ahead of the bandits, dodging bullets that went by as they raced, and returning fire as much as possible. Needless horse got hit and started to slow so he trow all the important stuff to the others and let his horse start to slow from the wound, waiting for the bandits to catch him. Oreo yelled out to him to not do it, but he just yelled back, "EVERYONE JUST KEEP GOIN TO THE NEXT TOWN I'LL MEET YOU THERE, KEEP EACH OTHER SAFE." Needless slowly became surrounded by the bandits who focused more on him then they did anyone else, all the rest went to hide behind a nearby rock formation as the group stopped, completely trapping Needless without a hope of escape. All the bandits then opened fire on Needless until they ran out of bullets, and to their surprise Needless was unharmed, one by one the bandits got off their horses and charged Needless, and one by one Needless knocked them out, sending some flying miles away with one punch, that was until the last twenty or so dog piled on him at once, slowing him down and making it hard to hit any of them. That's when a strum was heard and a sound wave knocked all the men back, standing behind the wave was Rosy and Quinn at either side of Oreo who yelled, "Y'ALL STAY OFF MY MAN," before running over to make sure Needless was ok, Quinn stayed where she was and started shooting well Rosy charged and took care of the last twenty easily, Rosy once again attempted to interrogate the last once, still proving pointless he throw the man to Quinn and let her try to warp his mind to give them the location where the bandits came from, the bandit cracked and told, then Rosy knocked him out. "I feel stupid that we didn't do that earlier," Rosy said as he grabbed one of the bandit's horses for Needless to use, and brought all the horses over to where Oreo was on the ground next to Needless, hugging him tightly and making sure he wasn't harmed at all, luckily Prismia's armor had done its job. "Come-on love birds," Rosy said as he handed Needless the reigns to his new horse, "we have a town an evil to destroy." All four got on their horses and raced to the edge of a nearby cliff, looking over and seeing the dim lights of a town in the distance as the sun was setting, Rosy said softly, "that's our final destination."
