I looked around to where we had arrived. It was an abandoned shack with nothing but trees surrounding it. As soon as I was on my feet I retreated away from Jiro.

"What are you?" I hissed, becoming defensive again. He stared at me in surprise.

"Didn't you know from our wings?" He said almost condescendingly. I stared at him in confusion does he really expect me to know what he is? He sighed almost as if exhausted with dealing with me. "I am a tengu here on Mt Kurama."

I stared at him in disbelief. Tengu?! Tengu as in demons who probably devour humans? Another disturbing thought crossed my mind.

"Greg..." I whispered, suddenly getting angry. "Where is Greg?!" I demanded.

Jiro looked away, looking somewhat annoyed by my question. "I have told you multiple times human. I do not kn-"

He didn't get a chance to finish. I sprinted forward, full force tackling him down to the ground like a wild animal. I straddled him again only this time I kept swinging full blows towards his face, murder on my mind.

"SO HELP ME GOD IF YOU DID ANYTHING TO GREG I'LL KILL YOU!!" I hollered. I felt tears brimming my eyes. I was desperate, I had to find Greg right now. I had to get away. Jiro protected his face with his hands he looked angry but once he saw my face his expression softened. Almost effortlessly he pushed me off and held me down pinning my hands above my head.

"I do not know who or where Greg is." He said tiredly "However I will find him." He than got up and regarded my surprised expression humorously.

"In the mean time a deal is a deal, you must remain here." He glowered at me while saying these last few words. I wiped my tears away angrily as I propped myself up on my elbows.

"Ok...I'll stay here but find Greg and let me at least say goodbye." I begged. Jiro nodded turning away from me.

"Human...what is this Greg person to you?" He asked coldly. I looked at the ground unsure of how to answer.

"He's a brother." I said. Jiros shoulders relaxed at my response.

"I see...I will go send word of his disappearance. In the meantime you are to stay here, I will be back to start training."

He expanded his wings and took flight. I'm alone...I could leave...but he'd find me and for some reason I don't think he's lying about trying to find Greg. I looked at the shack and decided to explore.

There was nothing inside except a futon and a gas lamp. Exactly where am I supposed to take a dump? Probably the woods. I sighed, well this was gonna suck, I left the service in order to feel like a human again not just another tool. Whatever, it's fine as long as they find Greg. I hope he's ok. I laid down on top of the futon looking at the ceiling, I guess a little nap wouldn't hurt after all I'll be training soon enough. Demon training no less.
