SIX.

oh god. My head.
I slowly plucked my eyes open, one by one. Oh god. The sun.

I sat up with a jolt, yanking the blanket with me. Scanning the room I realised I was at home. That was a relief. What wasn't a relief, however, was the soft snoring coming from the right of me.

Fuck.

I felt my cheeks heating with vague memories of last night creeping into my mind. I convinced Jimmy to come back to mine because of course mom would be sedated, I convinced him it didn't matter that we tripped up the stairs and nearly knocked a photo off the wall..and I convinced him that he wasn't taking advantage of me because I was drunk.

Shit.

I slowly lifted the thick layer of blankets away from my torso, looking down at our bodies It confirmed what I already knew.

A sudden pang if guilt settled in my stomach and I needed to puke. Oh god. The hangover.

Jumping up and yanking the top lander with me, I fumbled to the bathroom, barely making it to the toilet before expelling the contents of my stomach. Oh god it burnt and stung at the same time. My throat felt raw and the breath hitched in my chest everytime I heaved.

After about 10 minute I felt I could stand up again. I noticed on my way back to my room that mom had, at some point, left. I had to give her credit. If she felt this bad all the time, going to work took some serious effort.

By the time I got back Jimmy was sitting upright on my bed, pulling his sweatshirt over his head. He still looked extremely adorable in my sober state.

"So" I half asked, half stated as I sat down in the edge of my own bed. Jimmy still covered up to his waist in blankets. "I'm going to take a little guess what happened here?"

"Yeah.."

I didn't know it then but that was the start of a long and volatile relationship with Jimmy smith.

So I'm going to do a follow up story and it will be along the lines of him and Kim's relationship but again, not factual and still under the 8 mile name etc. I'm doing them in small series instead of a huge story. It just helps me keep track of it all.
