Little girl

258 48 78

I handed you the boat of trust.

Like a Lilly of the valley,

Pure as it could be.

I thought of you as angel,

Someone my eyes won't fear.

But when did you change

Or was it you, still the same?

Is it my fault that

I couldn't see?

The lust behind this sane,

And the fact that you

didn't abstaine.

Those small hands

that you held,

Every strands of hair

that you swept,

They all trusted you.

Trusted you till the end.

Till the clock seemed to stop.

And the boat finally sank.

Later you said

you couldn't take the

rejection well,

Although you're sorry

But does it really change?

The fact of what happened,

Does it really blurs into the

edges of the past?

Then why does your name

still lock me in a box?

The moment light's whisked away,

Everything flashes back.

Why can't I still trust ?

Everyone seems to have lust?

That little girl did grow up,

But she still bears the scars.

The vase you broke

Shard by shard

Is still falling apart.
