----------

"I'm not going"  I say crossing my arms

"You have too"  Leah says. "She wants you back"

"Leah you don't understand. When I was little and I would ask to see her, I was always denied. I needed her then, and she wasn't there. I don't need her anymore"

"Your just saying that Harper. You've never had your biological mother before, and now your getting the chance to be with her"

Ana walks in. "Are you ready Harps?"

"I guess"  I say grabbing my backpack.

She signals me towards the door.

"Bye Harps" Leah says hugging me. I feel a couple of her tears drop on my shoulder. She's been there for me since day one. She's like my sister and has helped me so much.

"We really need to go" Ana says.

"I know"  I sigh.

-----------

"Why do we have to go to Florida?"

"Cause that's where she lives"

"I hate this, I hate all of this"

"Come on Harper, she regrets leaving you"

"Are you being serious Ana? She does not regret anything! The only reason why she wants me back is to help promote her self image. She doesn't need me. She doesn't love me. I'm just a useless girl to her"

Tears stream down my face. Why can't I just stay with Ana? Why do I have to stay with a woman that I have to call "mom?"

Ana rubs my back. "It's all going to be okay"

I bury my head into her shoulder and sob. I sob until, I have to board the flight.

"Bye Harper" Ana says hugging me.

"Bye"

I gulp. Is this really happening? Am I really leaving Ana. The woman who has been my "mom" since I was 6.

After hugging and sobbing with Ana for a couple minutes, I had to go.

----------

"Ms Harper Larsen"

I sigh. It's really happening.

"Hello, are you Harper?" the man asks.

"Yes, I'm Harper"

"Well hop right on in" he says opening the car door.

I get in, shut the door, and look out the window.

"So, are you excited to be in Orlando?" he asks.

Why does he have to talk to me?

"Yeah" I say with a fake smile.

"Are you here for any special reasons?"

Why would I tell you, a stranger why I am here in Orlando?

"Uh, I'm here because it's my aunt's birthday"

I'm such a bad liar.

"Really, how old is she?"

I swear I am going to slap him.

"She's, um 32"

"Cool" he grins. "We've arrived Ms Larsen"

"Thank you" I say grabbing my backpack.

"Anytime" he smiles.

He opens the car door and waves. I wave back, and slowly walk up towards the door. I wonder if she's married. I hope not. I always told Leah and Ana to not tell me anything about her life. All I know is that she likes soccer. I hate soccer. I hope she doesn't make me play.

I knock on the door.

"Hello, and you are?" an elderly woman asks.

"I'm Harper Larsen"

"Oh yes, your here to see Ms-"

"Yes I am here to see her" I say cutting her off.

"Just follow me" she says.

I follow her into some sort of living room, to see my "mom" on the couch.

"Harper" she smiles.

"Hi"

She immediately got up and came over to me, and of course she began hugging me. I hate this, I hate all of this so much. I don't want to be here. I wanted to be here when I was 6, but now I'm 14 and this is the last place that I want to be.
