So today, I'm going to talk about some more of Sing It Loud, a TV series I hope to get published someday. I've previewed the main characters and some of the arcs, so today, I'm going to talk about intended messages. Every story has a message. I use that to my advantage in order to get my message across. That is how I would like to change the world.
Humility is Better than Pride
I like to juxtapose my protagonist and antagonist in my stories. The main character, Ariana, is humble despite her fame and glamour. Her rival, LeAnn (one of many antagonists), is prideful and full of herself. I'm not gonna names here, but it's sad that fame can get to people's heads. I want Ariana to be humble. In my eyes, LeAnn is the embodiment of pride, one of the seven deadly sins.
Be Yourself
This is kinda old but important. It's sad that most modern songs don't have much individuality. I want to change that by having Ariana write her own songs about her experiences. I want her to be able to connect with her fans, which is why she writes about her negative experiences. She wants people to know they are not alone and to inspire them to rise above their challenges.
Everybody Has Their Demons
Ariana, Tara, Joseph, and some others have their own demons. I don't want to write characters with perfect lives because they wouldn't be relatable. Ariana is insecure about herself, Tara had to help her mom survive as a single mom, Joseph was kicked out of Catholic school for being gay, etc. We can all relate to being insecure about something. Some people only have one parent alive. Others can relate to being shunned for being who they are.
