HOME IS NOT ALWAYS WHERE THE HEART IS PT 2

The next morning Priyanka had managed to get up before Nick, took a shower, and left the house before Nick had woken. She could not bear to see his face especially if he was doing what she thought he was doing. She made her to the local coffee shop to look over the script for the new film she was starring and producing called the Wild Wild Country. Every time she read a sentence she could hear it in Jessica's voice and she would have to shake her head to gather herself. She was thankful for the huge shades she wore because it hid the sadness and the anger in her eyes. How could this be happening? They just got married. Should she confront him? She knew this issue was bigger than her and she picked up her phone and call her cousin. 

Back home Nick had woken up to Elvis and Diana in the bed staring at him. He was shocked to see Priyanka to gone because he usually had to pull her out of bed. He got out of bed and let Diana and Elvis had their morning run in the backyard. He picked up his phone to call his wife when he saw a missed call from Jessica. Jessica had also left him a text asking if he was ok because he had called her last night but didn't say anything on the phone. Nick texted Jessica and apologized. He didn't remember calling Jessica but he figured he probably called by accident.

*AT THE COFFEE SHOP*

Pari: Hey! Omg, are you ok?

Pri: Not really. My fucking head hurts, my stomach is in knots, and I keep hearing Jessica's voice. She probably this beautiful Italian brunette that's in her 20's.

Pari: Stop this! This does not sound like something Nick would do. Maybe there is some type of explanation. She could be a costar or something.

Pri: But why would he have to hide that from me?

Pari: I refuse to believe he is cheating?

Pri: So now I'm the liar?

Pari: I am not saying that I just think there is more to the story. 

Pri: You are supposed to be on my side. I can't deal with this, I'm leaving.

Pari: Come back. Look if you really think something is going on then you can either ask him and follow him.

Pri: He will never just tell me so I guess I'm going to have to see for myself but..

Priyanka's phone began to ring. Nick had called to check on her. She explained that she had come to get coffee and go over some things for work. Nick asked if they could meet up for dinner later because he wanted to talk to her. Those words made her stomach sink and she hurried and got off the phone with Nick. She handed the phone to Pari and rushed to the bathroom and vomited. She was devastated. She wanted to believe that she was losing her mind and that this was not real. Pari rushed into the stall and Priyanka tried to shield her away but Pari had already thrown her arm around her and was wiping her mouth with a paper towel. Pari started to cry.

Pari: Priyanka I don't like seeing you like this. We have to get to the bottom of this. I'll call Nick and confront him.

Pri: No don't! I will handle this; can you just help me get myself together.

Pari: Of course come on.
