Tyra's P.O.V.

Its been a week since the end of the dead pool. Me and Derek were still better than ever. Im really excited for school to be just over. That when Derek gave me the promise ring was the best moment of my life. I really am ready to be with him for the rest of my life.

But something's just been bothering me. It's just an uneasy feeling like something bad is gonna happen. I feel like someone is going to end up getting hurt or killed. I just don't want to lose anyone else. After Allison and Aiden, I have been afraid of losing everyone.

We have our first actual game tomorrow. So that's something to look forward to. Scott and Kira won't be going. They're having a date. They're so cute together.

Right now I am currently at Liam's house with him and Mason. I had decided that we hadn't had enough brother-sister time. And he's been a little off lately. Derek wanted to stay back and keep Melissa company which I thought was incredibly sweet.

We were in the middle of a very heated game of Call of Duty. Liam and I were kicking Mason's ass by the way. I ended up winning with Liam coming in second and poor Mason lost.

"It's official. I am the best!" I said, making them laugh.

"Yeah right. You totally cheated."Liam said. I rolled my eyes.

"Aww don't be such a sore loser." I teased.

" And when did you get so good?" Mason asked Liam. "Have you been practicing? Or did you just suddenly get superhuman reflexes?"

My eyes widened as I looked over at Liam.

"Uh, practicing. Yeah I've been practicing." he quickly said.

"And I should be studying." Mason said, putting his controller down.

"Where are you going?" I asked.

"Home. I got a history test tomorrow."

"Come on. One more game." Liam said.

"Yeah, you said that four games ago." Mason got up.

"Study here." I suggested.

"You can stay over. Come on. One more game." Liam said.

"You okay?" Mason asked Liam, glancing at me.

"Yeah, you're right. You should go. I should probably study too." Liam said. "See you at school."

Mason gave me a small wave before closing the door behind him and leaving. Liam got in his bed and layed down, facing away from me.

I sighed and sat on the bed next to him.

"Okay, what's up?" I asked. He didn't move.

"I don't know what you're talking about." he mumbled.

"Liam Dunbar, don't you give me that bullshit. Tell me what's wrong." I demanded. He sighed and turned to lay on his back and look up at the ceiling.

"Im scared." he quietly whispered, a single tear running down his cheek. I scooted over to him and made him lay his head in my lap. I stroked his hair.

"Listen Liam, I know you're new to all this crazy stuff and it's probably scary as hell. But, you have nothing to worry about. We're all here. Well most of us. We protect each other. And you're a part of this pack now whether you like it or not. So now we'll protect you." I told him. "You're my brother now. And I don't like seeing you upset." He smiled a little.

"Thanks alot. You're an amazing sister." he quietly said before drifting off to sleep. I gently placed him back on his pillow before lying down next to him and falling asleep.
