A Ghostly love (LAMP)

8. Dying again?

It been a bit since anxiety passed out. We are hoping that he will be fine in the end but I am unsure about the result now.

I read the book out loud to the others so we know a bit more about anxiety.

"How ghost can come back to-" I pause the reading when I heard a groan in pain. I place the book down and went to the others. Thomas hasn't said a word this entire time. Maybe because it was a lot to take in right now.

"Kiddo?" Patton sat down next to anxiety. "It's okay.." anxiety looked up at us.

"Ugh... I fell like death!" He complained.

"Well it is your death day so it would make you feel like death." I stated.

"My... death day?" Anxiety questioned. "I guess I never really paid much attention to it before so.." he paused. "I never cared if I was in pain.." he sounded like he would pass out again.

"Anxiety since we can't touch you can you sit up for us?" I asked him. He slightly nodded and sat up with difficulty.

"There," he looked me in the eyes. "Was there a reason for that?" He asked.

"Indeed, I have noticed your chest glowing and it will be easy to tell which one is happening. So if it stops glowing then you moved on. If it keeps glowing for a day then your just going to be in pain for today." I informed him.

He nodded and looked down at his chest. "Is that something only humans can see?" I was confused. He looked back at me. "I can't see my chest glowing." I looked at his chest and it was clearly glowing. Maybe the ghost can't see that..

"It is still glowing, Interesting..." so ghost can't see the glow but humans can. It says nothing about it in this book. Maybe they left out information?

"Say What's That?" Anxiety pointed at the book.

"Oh it's just a book about ghost Logan found! He was reading it to us while you were out!" Patton smiled.

"Yes the lovable nerd had been giving us what to look for with the glowing chest and all!" I chuckled a bit.

"Really? I wanna hear this." Even if he was still in pain he was interested in this book.

"Alright, lets see." I grabbed the book and looked for the page I left off on.

I couldn't find the chapter I was on so I decided to start at the next chapter. "How to tell a ghost Emotions.
Ghosts will normally stay the colour they are but with a tint in them. This colour represents the emotion they feel. It's different for every ghost but the only certain one is the colour yellow for pain." I paused and looked over at anxiety. He was indeed have a yellow tint to him. It was only small so you wouldn't notice unless you were actually looking for it.

"So?" He questioned as he saw me looking at him.

"Your glowing yellow.." I spoke and looked away.

"Well I can't see- ARGH!" He screamed in pain grabbing his head.

"Anxiety!" Patton quickly went to him. Of course he couldn't touch Him but Patton still went to him. "It'll be okay, I promise." Patton tried his best to not try and hug him because it'll only be useless.

Just like that anxiety have passed out again. We all had a painful expression on our faces. Anxiety was family to us. Seeing him hurt was just as painful.

POV Of Patton...

Anxiety... he... he passed out again..

I felt tears escaped my eyes and sobbed. I felt someone pull me into a hug.

"It's okay love," I heard roman speaking. I just sobbed and didn't notice much around me.

I hated see someone in pain and not being able to do anything.

POV Of Roman...

I felt my shirt get damp but I didn't care. I pulled Patton to my lap so it's more comfortable to him.

I hated see Patton getting this upset..

I looked up at Logan to see him looking at Patton. I could tell that it was hard right now not to hug him but the nerd wasn't much of a physical contact kinda guy.

I looked at Thomas to see him looking between all of us before looking away sadly. I knew something was up with him but decided to ask him later.

POV Of anxiety....

I felt like I was dying! I'm in the black void again. I must've passed out.

I sighed and looked around hoping something changed but it didn't. Welp that's just great... I'm gonna hope that this is just gonna end soon...
